Yes! I'm glad you posted this. I remember learning about this. My mom's bones are not dense. She has been working on her weight training a lot in the past two months. I need to reminder her to get another bone density test to see if there has been any improvement.

I'm turning 45 on he 28th this month. I really didn't start losing weight consistently until I joined this site. Like you I didn't think I was eating that much before until I started counting my calories. I have 15 more to lose and then I'll reevaluate. Please send an invite.

My pancakes are VERY light and fluffy made with 100% whole wheat flour. And they are healthier made with the Whole wheat. You should be ok running your 5k the day before your half. It might help you relax and sleep better that night. I was so wound up before my half, I don't think I slept 2 hours. Plus you'll be with your family. Good luck!

I Might give the Brooks Pure Contacts a try since I still have chin pain (not as much as before) and have high arches. I'll wait until my Saucony Grid Profile get more mileage on them though. It is still a good light shoe but I want my chin pain to go away completely.

I would definitely could them. But you really should not drink Gatorade. Unless you go on a long sweaty run or race and need the electrolytes. Way too much sugar and sodium! Try vitamin water. the zero calorie kind. It has many different flavors and all kinds of vitamins added.

My thighs still rub.Even though I have lost weight. I will rejoice the day they no longer rub! I still have some weight to lose. I like to wear longish exercise shorts, tight ones so when I run I don't chafe and my shorts don't ride up. Very annoying!
