Hmmmmm. Cut out all the white sugar snacks high in salt. Snack on protein instead. Have your carb snacks only once a week and not every night . If you are training for a 1/2 marathon you need the carbs. I would not recommend going low carb during training.

My home made bread with butter. I would eat another slice after dinner when dinner was huge! I would also drink too many glasses of wine at night. The calories added up fast!

There ARE bad foods. So bad you can feel your arteries clogging just looking at the food. French fries is an example of one of them.

I'm sorry but I don't really care for it. It looks cute on top but I just don't like the way it's short in the front. Maybe if it was just a touch longer in front. Just past the knees. And the shoes don't go with it.

Lot's of good responses! Eggs are a wonderful food. The whole egg. I have chickens and get fresh eggs everyday. Love my eggs! I eat 2 or 3 almost everyday.

Well, yes they are vegetables. And usually they are frozen fresh and still have a lot of their nutrients in them. A good alternative and a little cheaper than fresh.

I've done a bunch of 5k's and a half marathon and am training for my second half marathon but haven't done a 10k yet. I am thinking about doing one in Nov. and I should be plenty ready by then. Good luck on yours. Happy running! ps I think you should go ahead and do the 10k. What kind of times did you get in your 5k's?

I really want to do a Tough Mudder. I just don't want to travel a long way to do one. I did a Warrior Dash last April and it was great!! It was in the state I live in. Mississippi. I plan on doing it again next year and try to beat my time....I'll still keep my eyes open for a Tough Mudder close to me.

Try Eating at LEAST 20 grams (or more)of protein in every meal. Eat way fewer carbs. I don't think you need to cut back on calories just change what those calories are. Give your self your treats in moderation. If you don't you may find your self binging. I like to have spike day once a week. But I spike in healthy foods. Sometimes I do eat stuff like french fries. But Not very often at all. Mostly I work my treats in around my daily calories.
