  • I dont eat fruit, drink milk, full sugar soda, or anything for that matter. Some foods can be suprising though.. so i suggest just checking labels .. everyones diet is different so you may not have many clean foods that contain sugar depending on what you eat.

  • Try to eat a bunch of fat (maybe dont be so anal about calories for the first few days until the transition is further along, drink some stock.. and salt all of your food.. it will help with the foggy feeling. You will feel far better.. stick with it!

  • I try to aim for somewhere between 1200 to 1500 calories. 65 - 70% fat... 20 - 25% protein and then carbs to make the remainder. I aim to keep carbs below 20g per day..(meaning net even lower)

  • I, personally.. find that if i can eat full fat cheese and delicious cured meats, im ok. I dont feel as though im "missing out" and its a sustainable idea for me. Keto however does take alot of organisation on my part and if i become lazy i slip and give up. I think its very rewarding though.
  • I only make sure my carbs are low enough. I try to have a little bit of fruit in my day - maybe berries or an apple but make sure that I plan for it and fit it in. Theyre so delicious and theyre my daily treat. Otherwise i have a small chocolate - i like the atkins chocolates and know that theyll be low carb!

  • I would believe that it is stored as fat. However, if you are at a calorie defecit, you wouldnt store any of this.. Also during ketosis your body isnt as efficient at burning fat as it as at say burning carbs, so you will burn more fat for the same output of energy than you would carbs. Hope this helps
  • I wouldnt imagine you are in ketosis - but it is possible. I think it would be your body reacting to teh sudden lack of carbs... youll get through it.. 3 days of this and youll be feeling so energetic!
