My boyfriend just put pot roast in the crock pot for tonight. Lots of yummy fresh veggies in it :3

Today one of my coworker friends stopped me as I was leaving for lunch and said, "you look smaller. Are you shrinking?" And I laughed and said yes, I've lost 21 pounds. And she's like "OMG, I thought you'd lost weight but I was imagining it! You look amazing!" She's the first person who's noticed without me pointing it…

oh geez, this is a hard one, I love so many! -Volleyball -Walking -Running -Swimming -Bicycling -Zumba is fun but I found I often don't have the stamina to keep up the whole class. I also haven't gone in a couple years so that may have changed.

Jennifer Lawrence. I may or may not have a huge celeb crush on her lol. :p

Sometimes I just can't get motivated either, I don't care how much I need the exercise, or where i'm at in my workout schedule for the week, I just can't get moving. Just pick it back up tomorrow, or do what the others said and try just walking for 10-15 mins just to get moving.

I'm an avid TKD lover, although I've been out of it for a year due to struggling to find a good dojang in my area. I trained in ITF taekwondo for 6 years when younger, and just about every dojang out here teaches WTF. I wasn't impressed with the dojang I tried that taught WTF, so I'm searching for the right place. I just…

My boyfriend swears he hates chocolate, and yet his favorite cake is... red velvet. lol. I don't have a recipe for one but I'm sure a quick google search will find a good one for you. It is chocolate cake so it'd make your recipient happy, but it isn't a "death by chocolate" taste so it wouldn't be so heavy for the heat.…

Oh god, you've made me really miss living in California again, hahaha! :D In N Out has been calling my name since I moved to the Midwest 9 years ago, lol. My favorites are: Healthy meal: 3 eggs scrambled with vegetables and cheese. Sometimes I like it with ham or bacon in it too, but it's not required. (that can be from…

I wouldn't say they're "bad" for you, you could do a lot worse than those. They're also just pure carbs so you're probably not going to find them very satisfying, and if you smother them in butter and syrup like most people do, then they're definitely not the most healthy option. If you're shopping at Aldi for breakfast…

Personally, I don't go with any specific diet plan and that's what has made me the most successful. I've found it's a lot easier to just make healthier swaps than it is to try and shoehorn my way of eating into some pre-determined diet plan. What worked best for me was finally caving and going to a dietitian, because she…

-Hard boiled egg -Fruit. Fresh or freeze dried, I love the freeze dried kind and they don't seem as calorie dense as regular dried. But if you like to mindlessly snack like I do, the freeze dried ones are kinda nice for portioning out and eating like they're chips. -A serving of nuts. Don't do this if you can't stick to…

I don't really give up anything except things with extreme calorie counts. I used to down cheeseburgers that topped 2,000 calories, which now I can't even fathom eating. But if I really want something, I either find a way to make it fit my calories, cut it in half and share it with someone, or buy a much smaller version of…

I don't know if i'd call them "life changing" but they're a pretty good lift for everyone to learn how to do properly.

I pre-log dinner in the morning when I know what i'm going to be making/having. It makes me more likely to stick with that plan (although it doesn't always work!) I'm usually eating pretty decently for breakfast and snacks as is, and then I decide what's for lunch based on the numbers leftover. :)

Water or iced tea with a couple packets of splenda.

I tend to eat a breakfast sandwich with a piece of fruit, usually akin to an egg mcmuffin. I also love oatmeal or greek yogurt with some fruit and nuts. To keep myself from getting bored with eggs, I add stuff like peppers, onions, spinach, lean meat, etc. to my scrambles, or having it as a breakfast burrito. I've tried…

I also have issues with canned tuna. I can eat the occasional tuna salad sandwich but it's like a once a year thing, and then i'm done with it for a long time lol. I'd recommend putting something else on your salads. Try chopped up hard boiled eggs, they're also great for you and are substantially less gaggy. If you want…

You really look fantastic! Congrats on your successes!

wow!! You look amazing!! Great job, congrats!

Seeing the changes that are happening to me, as well as proving to people (and to myself) that I'm beautiful, strong, and successful in the ventures I undertake.

Pretty much what everyone else said, take it slow! For me, I needed to start with little things. Taking healthy snacks to work that I would like, instead of raiding the vending machine. Accepting that in order to break my soda habit, I needed to make a plan for myself. What we decided was that I could have ONE can of soda…

I was taking my measurements for my appointment with my dietitian on Monday morning (I like to list my successes and challenges every 6 weeks when I visit). I've lost a total of 3/4" on my neck, 3" on my waist and each thigh, and 2.5" on my hips in the last 80 days. Totally excited, I'm making real progress! :D

To get down to 20lbs lost - 0.8 pounds left to go! ARGH it seems so slow, this has been my goal for like a month now and it's dropping little by little, but i'm not there yet!

I like it with cinnamon, raisins, vanilla extract, and some sweetener (I like a little agave nectar most). I also like the strawberries and cream/peaches and cream packets, although I don't have them often. I love oatmeal in any form, steel cut, rolled, instant, etc. it's all good to me :)

JFT 8/18/16: -Get back on track and stay there, no more fried anything today -Drink a lot of water -Go to the gym after work -Eat dinner at home (it's a lot easier to stick to my calorie goals when I eat at home!!!)

So far i've lost a sperm whale's brain, a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts, and a guinea pig. I'm clearly very bad at keeping track of things, lol. My goal is to lose as much as a gold brick, but maybe rather than losing something as valuable as that I should strive for the largest ball of tape. That's probably not very useful…

This morning while I was getting dressed, I went into the bathroom and happened to look at myself from the side after pulling my shirt on. I noticed that I look significantly slimmer from the side now, and I really like the way I look so far!

Watching the olympics always fills me with longing and regret of my choices. I was on the path to being able to compete in the Taekwondo event when I was a teenager, I was extremely good at what I did. However, I ended up dropping out, doing other sports and eventually get a part time job in lieu of exercise. Now I'm far…

I had a couple of coworkers who went under the knife to help with their weight loss. One had gastric bypass and was very successful, while the other had lap band and was not. Really what it boiled down to was their willingness to stick with what they had to do, and take care of their gastric systems post-surgery. Both said…

I found nutrition facts on things I'd eaten at restaurants in the past while looking up the healthier options. There were many times where I found out that a previous meal was double my calories for the day in one sitting, between the soda, a burger and fries, and a slice of pie at the end. All I can say when I see that…
