Weigh yourself weekly under the same conditions (first thing upon waking). Your weight fluctuates daily. I wouldn't put too much stock in it. I used to weigh daily and it was making me nuts. Up 2 lbs, down 4 lbs, down 1/2 lb, up 1 lb, down 2 lbs. Don't get caught up in that. Scale weight also does not account for your…

This is how I do it more or less as well. My steaks are cooked to medium and I have never experienced a dry steak. Montreal seasoning is pretty good too.

I am a terrible swimmer and have not swam well since winning my first and only swim race 41+ years ago. Don't let that stop you. I did freestyle and breast stroke at my tris. Sometimes even a little doggy paddle and side stroke. Just finish it. Once the swim is behind you, the rest is easy IMO.

From my first experience, hang back on the swim start. If you were doing only pool training, the open water might be intimidating. There is a frenzy at the start with people thrashing all around. Hang back and swim away from the main pack. You are less likely to have someone hit you or splash water in your mouth. In the…

Could be jealousy or bitterness. Maybe she's unhappy with her weight and body. She sees you making a positive change for yourself and it amplifies her sadness and bitterness. She's trying to drag you down to her level. Surround yourself with people who are going to encourage and motivate you to hit your goals. You're doing…

Portabello mushrooms (great with steaks), asparagus and zucchini are my favorites. You can grill fruit too. I've done peaches and pineapple.

I couldn't have said this better. DVR everything too. 60 min show reduced to 40+ mins gives you more time to be outside or in the gym. I am not sure I really understand people who still watch live TV.

Wow, that is messed up. It makes it difficult for the nice guys to stick out in a sea of creepers. You wanna meet a nice person, you gotta go to church.

I just ran my first half 3 days ago on 3 months of training. I am a cyclist not necessarily a runner. I think you have plenty of time to train. The key is to stay consistent in your training. If you're scheduled to run 3 times a week, then run 3 times a week. No more, no less. Build in a rest or drop back week and some…

Find out what size frame you need. Test ride a couple bikes at your local bike shop. Then look on Craigslist for something used. That is your best bet if you're trying to stay under $300.

I occasionally have the same issues too.

This is why I went out and bought my own squat rack. Plus, there are never any jerks curling in my squat rack.
