Because I tried to eat a donut from Dunkin but it was stale so I only licked off the sprinkles. Well, you asked! ;)

Hi, I typically gain between 3-7 pounds a few days before I begin my cycle due to water weight and bloating. I have read that charcoal capsules (from a drug store) can help reduce it, but they haven't for me. I lose the 3-7 plus a couple more if I maintain the diet and exercise after my period. Don't give up! ~cc

Love them...like the regular bars too

Mary, I am so glad to see your goals set up that way. It is very encouraging to me because I almost match you (I'm about 5 heavier though :/ ). Keep going! :)

Way to go! That is great! I am actually on day 3 and it is nice to see others out there 'doing it'!!! :) Congrats!!

Thanks for your input. I am so busy with my schedule, so the 20 minutes of course appealed to me. I think the walk sounds good too, though! :) Cheers!

Hi! Where did you get your 30 day shred ruler?
-
How long have you been doing it? It takes me about 2-3 weeks once I start really watching my calories and exercising before it drops off, and then it goes like mad...3-5 pounds per week! Hang in there--it will happen! :)

Great job! :)

You can do it! Hang in there! :)

I totally TOTALLY agree. All the light or fat free stuff......some of it I can handle, but stuff like cheese I cannot handle. It doesn't melt and it's not worth the calories AT ALL. I would rather have a light sprinkle of real cheddar than a cup of crap. :D Keep going!

I think there are calories in a bakery because every time I go in I seem to gain weight. :D

I lost 35 pounds about 2 years ago counting calories on my own. It was a pain looking up each food and graphing daily. As SOON as I stopped counting (about 4 months), I gained the weight back bit by bit, and now I am back where I started. I don't want to count calories either but I feel like if I don't I will never lose…

I've tried both and I have a ridiculous schedule most of the year. I had to get up at 5am to exercise in the morning but it allowed me a quiet house to do pilates and made me very calm for the morning. When I wait until after dinner, I get tired or just don't want to do it. I think it depends on your own preference.

In response to Kim and the husband sabotaging....just an idea....what if you cut a gorgeous body out of a magazine and glued your head on it and put it on his bathroom mirror???? Maybe that could provide some encouragement for him to help you!!!!!

Actually, I have stopped eating beef and my husband has been really supportive. I cook the SAME meals (chili, shepard's pie, meatloaf) with ground turkey and he can't tell the difference, but it is SO much healthier!!!! I have a great recipe --made it Friday--for meatloaf if you want it :) Just message me!

I understand the 'lost track of myself' comment! Sometimes we are so busy with life we forget about ourselves! Good luck! :)
