I've been doing the carnivore thing since Sept. & down 24 lbs so far. I'm finding ketosis is a bit challenging in my 60s. Anything more than 10 carbs in a day kicks me out so ... carnivore it is! The Christmas temptations are manageable at this point but I have 3 parties this weekend. Hoping to stay strong through it!

I actually had a boss tell me I had to wear a bra! (my uniform was a t-shirt under a uniform dress shirt ...no visible nipples) I told him there were plenty of guys with larger breasts than me and when they started wearing them, I would too! LOL

up 2 lbs... I have been very good too. I'm not panicking. I feel good and my measurements are decreasing. I am sure it is water weight and that "this too, shall pass". I can still do this! :ohwell:

I'm hanging in and am going to keep a steady pace doing what I have been doing. I'm shooting for 30 lbs but will be (am) grateful for any weight loss. I truly believe if we do the foot work, change is bound to happen....one meal at a time! :flowerforyou:

Well today was very disapponting, indeed! I have been doing the deal but took one day off for the 4th and appearantly that was enough to gain 3lbs back! I am very frustrated! :grumble: Not giving up though... I can and WILL do this!

I chose to and enjoyed every single bite! (and I am not logging my food for yesterday either!) My friends and I have planned to identify one "free eat" day out of each month and the 4th was one of them! We went to a BIG potluck party and sampled a little or a lot of everything... free of guilt, shame or remorse! Back on…

I lost another 3 more lbs this last week! If I continue to lose the weight like I have, I may be down 30 by August...and that's alright by me!! :happy:
