I am 5'6. I started out at 201 lbs and a size 18 in January of 2012. I am now 166 lbs and a size 13/14. depending on brand.

Drinking water and eating something within the first hour of waking up helps your body to prepare to metabolize. I usually have a bottle of water first thing when i wake up. Then I have a banana or a protein smoothie. shortly after. I have found this very helpful to my weight loss.

I am from the northwest Burbs. I started my weight loss journey in January. I did alot of just dance 3 on the wii in the beginning. But I am finding that the summer months are harder for me cause i am out and about more and have been neglecting my routine.

yogurt. Oikos or chobani are both good brands, have a piece of fruit like an apple with it. You can also buy low sodium reduced fat lunch meats paired with light white bread or light wheat its not that high in calories especially if you are chasing little ones around all day .

Other than our age difference we are pretty close. I am 31 years old. SW-201 CW-176 GW- 150 for now, maybe push for 135-140. Oh yeah and I am 5'5 1/2.

my net is 1200. It seems low compared to my pals as well. But it is working. I started in January and have lost 21 lbs so far. I guess I would consult a doc and ask them what their opinion is.

Lately i have been collecting hobby supplies, I guess i am at an age where i need more things to do. so I crosstitch, paint do puzzles, read. Anything to keep my mind busy and focused.

Welcome! I am 31 and also a mother of 3 wonderful children. I started mfp in January and have lost 17 lbs so far. Feel free to add me if you like. I could always use some more encouragement myself. I have learned a few helpful hints along the way and would be glad to share them with you.
