Her walks average about 4mph (15 minute miles, though she has some that are 13 minute miles). I wear a HRM when I do her walks, and I find entering the walk as 3.5 mph is usually close to my HRM reading.

Watch the chips (they're so addicting!)... order fajitas, but without the flour tortillas. Substitute veggies for beans and/or rice. Alternately, you can ask for a meal. Most Mexican restaurants have grilled chicken (for the taco salads) so you can ask for a grilled chicken breast and veggies. Find something you won't feel…

At my previous job, lunch was usually at a fast food place. I could have either not gone or learn to make better choices. I chose to learn to make choices so that I could enjoy the camaraderie and fellowship with my co-workers. Changes I made (1) no French fries! (2) no breaded foods. At McDonald's or Burger King, I would…

I have an iPhone as my personal phone (and an iPod, iPad, and Mac PowerBook). For work, I was provided with an Android. The iPhone wins hands down. It is sleeker, more stylish, and much easier to use. Also, for whatever reason, the droid will occasionally lock up and stop syncing my calendar (even though the contacts and…

Day 3 for me... I hadn't been doing the cardio because I wasn't getting myself up in the morning to do a workout, so was doing the a.m. workout in the p.m. Today was my Day 3, and tonight I saw it was Cardio a.m. and Cardio p.m. so I did the cardio. It wore me out, but I'm glad I did it. A bit of a funny: I didn't read the…

Well, I couldn't get myself out of bed this morning for Day 2, but I came home from work and did it tonight. I'm glad I did! I'm using 5 lb weights. As with Day 1, some of the transitions are a bit quick for me, but I catch up. I was surprised that the cable was used in Day 2, and I wish she had an intro to show how to set…

I started today, but since I hadn't opened the box until today, I didn't realize it came with an eating plan. I've already been on a 1200 calorie plan, so I'm going to use these workouts without the suggested meal plan. (Maybe on the second round of 90 days I'll do it with the meal plan). I did find the tips interesting; I…

I just started the program today, so can't really judge what I think of it. As for the shipping, it definitely took longer than the 10 days (noted 7 to 10). I ordered on Feb 15 hoping to get it by March 1 (counting business days only), but it didn't show up until the second week of March. Hope yours arrives quickly.

I'm in... I started today with the Kick Start Workout 1 today. I find it similar to the boot camp I completed in February (which is why I purchased this program). The boot camp made me realize how out of shape I am, even with doing power walking the past 18 months. Working out at home will be convenient, and I'm hoping I…

When I go to McDonald's (rarely), I get the side salad ($1) and add grilled chicken ($2). It's not "on the menu" but I've asked at several locations and it's never been an issue. I've done the same thing at Burger King. The other salad options aren't bad; it's usually the dressing that will get you! P.S. I don't use…

I just ordered this, too, and can't wait for it to arrive. I signed up for a boot camp and it's been kicking my butt (figuratively, and I hope literally!). I am hoping if I use Body Revolution for 90 days, boot camp won't be as extreme. I'm looking forward to hearing how everyone is doing with this program.

Okay, I'm embarrassed to post this, but hoping it will help me better stay on track. I actually had a gain from February 1, even with regular workouts, increasing my water intake, and starting boot camp this past Monday. However, on reflection, I bought trail mix, and although it was not processed/packaged but the…

Great to see so many walking this month! I started that boot camp on Monday and boy is it doing me in! I've been doing the Sansone tapes for about a year and a half (and they still wind me!), but the boot camp is more intense than I thought it would be. Monday was basically various calisthenics and a lot of running (YIKES…

My highest was 291, which finally was the wake up call I needed as I vowed not to hit 300. I've been on MFP for over a year, logging everything!, and got down to 163. Unfortunately, I've been gaining lately and I'm up to 173. Time to get serious again, so I've signed up for a boot camp that starts Monday.

Feels so good to be walking again! An oldie, but a goodie, I used the two mile High Calorie Burn walk. I need to be sure and walk Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as preparation for my first boot camp on Monday. Wish me luck!

Hello, Everyone. I'm back after sliding off for the past two months (in which I gained 10.2 pounds -- YIKES). I have just been in a funk and haven't been doing my walking and it's showing, so I'm hoping to recommit. In addition to the Sansone workouts, I've signed up for a boot camp that starts next Monday and meets M, W,…

I'm in! I've actually gained 10.2 pounds in the last two months (YIKES!) so I'm hoping this challenge gives me the boost to get back on track. My 2/1 starting weight is 173.2 with a goal of 163 by the end of the month. I signed up for a boot camp that starts next Monday and meets M, W, and Fs through the month so I'm…

Great idea; thanks for starting this. Like others, this may be the kick I need to get back on track (I allowed a trip to New Orleans and then the Christmas holiday to derail me). Starting weight is 169.8. My pre-NOLA weight was 163, so I would like to get back to that by the end of the month. Good luck, Everyone!

Hello, Fellow Walkers. Glad to see everyone is off to a good start for December. I'm determined to stay on track this month (hence the train for my ticker!). I did the three mile Super Fat Burning (Thursday), the three mile Walk Your Belly Flat (Saturday), and the two mile Big Burn (Sunday). It's great to have a variety of…
