Yah I would not count an exercise by sweating. i just shovelled vigorously for 15 min burning 105 cals and not one drop of sweat...froze my *kitten* off. Not planning on logging that one since I am headed to the gym in an hour anyways.

I log shovelling snow so why not log washing a car? I wore my HRM when I did it just to see and I burned over 150 cals in 18 minutes....shovelling snow really is a work out. But the amount and weight of snow makes a big difference. I wouldn't bother logging it if it were just a light dust of snow. But this was a major snow…

Thanks for the advice...maybe i will stick to the barbell but add in some free weights as well. I LOVE bench press and can squat the barbell easily just need to work on my form.

Well I found an awesome app that shows all the moves with either barbell, dumbell, cables, kettle bell - even shows how to correctly do them. Just not liking the idea of bringing my phone and worrying about keeping an eye on it. Maybe if I take it a couple times i can memorize the moves. I want to focus on full body…

Each day I have woken up a few min before the alarm lol! Usually I am such a deep sleeper and can not get out of bed until at least 7! So since I work a desk job 40 hours/week I would also be lightly active? I used sedentary with 1 lb loss and it gave me 1600/day with eating exercise calories back. So your suggestion HayBales is to use lightly active with 1 lb loss and also eat exercise cals? That gives me 1770/day. I try to exercise 2-4 days/week but…

Its taken me 90 days to lose 16lbs and I have a 68lb loss goal. I wonder how others lose so fast as well. It is frustrating.

So haybales, correct me if I am wrong...20% of 2214 is approximately 1750! I should set my cals to that and if I burn under 1615 to eat back up to that?

Ok this site says my BMR is 1615. Hmm! What do you suggest I do? Currently set at 1700. MFP says 1721 Other one is 1759
