  • I have actually heard that about Old Navy. I don't personally shop there, but my friend swears by their jeans, and she has told me they definitely have vanity sizing. Honestly though I have two dresses in my closet, one a size 8 which fits me perfectly, and one a size zero, also fits me perfectly. My bridesmaid dress is a…
  • I've used it a little bit. It's pretty fun once I got the hang of it. I'm absolutely terrible at learning dance moves, so it took me a few days to pick up the moves. I don't know about using it religiously or results or anything because I don't own the DVDs, my friend does. It is a good workout though, and has cardio, a…
  • - Song download: According to iTunes, it was Promiscuous by Nelly Furtado. - CD: This I have no idea. I have too many CDs, haha. - Tape: The first pokemon soundtrack, I bought it when we were on vacation in Hawaii the first time, xD - Vinyl: N/a - 8Track: N/a - Concert: Beach Boys. Bahaha, I was a strange child. I still…
  • Last wednesday was the 7th anniversary of my grandpa's death. It's never easy to lose someone you love, but it is okay to remember them. Just because time has passed doesn't mean you should forget those you love. Heck, I carry a keychain with my sister's name who I never got to meet because she died before I was born. But…
  • I've definitely been there, so I know how you feel. I guess with my acid reflux, I've got an easy out because a lot of the foods they'd choose to eat, I can't eat. So personally I just say eff it and eat what I'm going to eat, and if they don't like it, tough luck. My body can't handle all the fried food and what not, so I…
  • Do you have free weights or an exercise ball? I know I've seen a lot of exercise charts on pinterest that are workouts you can do just with your own weight. Maybe try a google or google images search on that? Actually I've even seen something about making your own weights with sand and empty laundry detergent containers…
  • Eh, worst all around are just the one food "wonder" type diets. IE cabbage soup, celebrity diet (aka liquid diet), cookie diet, just any where you aren't getting proper nutrition. This one, as creepy as it it is, you are getting proper nutrients somewhere in the whatever the stuff is they feed you.
  • Some weird things that have it include cocoa powder. I took a steriod for a sinus headache and one of the side effects was low potassium.. as soon as I ate something with potassium, I stopped being so wicked thirsty. Also, oranges (or OJ), dried apricots, raisins, baked potato with skin, tomato paste, white beans,…
  • This is probably one of the creepiest diets I've seen. Not worst, but definitely creepiest. Ick. And insane! Seriously! I would not want to walk around with a tube in my nose and not eat for ten days. I like eating. Just.. This is terrible.
  • Some days (Like today, when I'm sick and the thought of food is repulsive most of the day...) I'm guilty of not eating enough. So i'm interested to see some other perspective on this. As far as sugars, it depends on what kind of sugars you are eating. If it's from fruits and veggies and such, it's more okay to go over than…
  • I don't know that I exactly qualify as a night shifter per say, but eh. I've just got mine set up as Meal 1, Meal 2, Meal 3, Snack 1, Snack 2, Other. Snack 2 and Other I haven't been using but they are there if I decide to.
  • When I don't know which to chose, I usually go with the highest one within the same general realm of the rest. So I'm skeptical of the 400+ calorie one, but I'd probably go with the 282 one. I know most of my food diary is based of estimations anyway, so personally I wouldn't worry about it too much.
  • I've got to disagree to an extent. Sure, I probably eat some unhealthy foods, but there are some foods (Like anything fried) that I just cannot eat with acid reflux. I had a really oily pasta last fourth of july, and lets just say I learned my lesson on that. So, there are some things that I /can't/ eat. Not without being…
  • Maybe try club soda or tonic water instead of pepsi. Also maybe try tea or coffee, something with a bit of caffeine because the caffeine is probably part of the reason you are getting irritable. I know I used to drink one can a day, and then it started making me really sick.. So I just abandoned it altogether. But I was…
  • I've found a lot of recipes for coconut oil and I've been debating getting some. I'm going to have to look at my local grocery stores and see what exactly it is they have, between extra virgin and refined. I hadn't realized the difference, so I'm glad I read this, haha.
  • My mom and I are both trying to eat healthy but my dad is really picky and likes a lot of unhealthy foods, so we always have a lot of unhealthy foods in the house, which I really have to try to avoid. So sometimes I am the one buying food for myself that's healthier. Only thing I've got going for me is that my parents to…
  • You are definitely not alone there! I've had it since I was 18. (I'll be 22 next month.) I take Prevacid, and have noticed what my trigger foods are, that make it worse. Unfortunately for me, I've learned them the hard way. I avoid fast food (Anything fried and greasy is just a no.) and anything with a lot of oil in it.…
  • July 1: 30 mins July 2: 45 mins July 4: 90 mins July 5: 60 mins July 7: 30 mins July 9: 30 mins 285/1440 mins. Eeep, I need to start catching up, hahaha.
  • Hehe as I'm looking at your pictures, the song Magnificent by U2 comes on. How fitting, xD. You look fantastic, great job! =]
  • Ahahaha, I'm pretty sure you meant this to be a rhetorical question, but I have an answer anyway. I'm actually more likely to pull in my stomach when no one is around. Granted when I do so, I'm also trying to sit up straghter so I'm also trying to improve posture. But even so...
  • Currently, my diary is private. Mostly, I'm keeping it as a record of what I eat so that I know when I get a migraine next, I can go back, look, see what I eat, and try to figure out what could have triggered it. And really, why does that matter to anyone else? I've also been using it the last few days to make sure I've…
  • Definitely well said. I myself at like crap today as well. Unfortunately at this point my stomach is unhappy because of that crappy food... But like you said, tomorrow is a new day. =]
  • Okay I just found this, but I'm totally in! Motivation to actually work on exercising and being accountable for said exercise, hell yeah. =] July 1: 30 mins July 2: 45 mins July 4: 90 mins July 5: 60 mins July 7: 30 mins Total so far: 255/1440
  • I had something similar happen to me. I was looking through some of my mom's lotions and stuff and saw one for stretch marks. I have some on my upper/inner thighs and I really don't care that no one else ever sees them. They bother me, and that's enough for me to want to get rid of them. Anyway, I asked if I could borrow…
  • I definitely feel your pain there. Even at my highest weight, (Which I knew was too high and unhealthy for me) people would still say "You're too skinny." etc. Sometimes I just wanted to say "Look, I'm sorry that you don't take care of your body but I take care of mine, so if you could please just shut it." But obviously I…
  • I know I had something similar happen last summer. I was hanging out with my friend and her guy friend, (who I've met before, so it wasn't that weird.) and he asked us to help him get up off the floor. Well we each took a hand and pulled, and he said I probably could have yanked him off the floor without my friend. I just…
  • Hahahaha, that's awesome! Great job! =]
  • I'm a very picky eater too. Going off your tomato example, I don't like raw tomatos at all, but I love them cooked in recipes. But in reverse, I've also found that I will only eat raw carrots. I just can't handle anything mushy, so I get the not being able to stomach the foods. Honestly, my best advice is to just hang in…
  • Wow! What a transformation! I can't even recognize you between the two pictures. You look amazing now. =] Great job!
  • Dang, I never really even thought about something like that. I suppose it's a good sign then that even at my heaviest, my guy friends (And even some of my female friends, for that matter) could all pick me up. Even so though, I know what's healthy for me and that wasn't it at all. I feel a lot better now, and will feel…
