I’m honestly so glad I’m not alone in this. I track my TOM too through an app so it’s a good idea to plan for it. I’m going to start using it to track my cravings and beginning planning for them. Today I start a walking challenge so this will help too. My biggest issue is that I haven’t been active enough. So there’s no…

I hate steak. No matter how great it’s cooked. But I do love liver!

Pretty proud of myself this week. In preparation to starting this next Monday I’ve forced myself to stretch and power walk 3 days this week. Looking forward to the challenge next Monday!!

Thank you. Yes the name is misleading. I’m more so trying to get moving than aiming for a flat tummy. 😊

Here's the plan i'm referring to: https://blog.myfitnesspal.com/your-6-week-belly-fat-blasting-walking-plan/

I was coming on here to ask this exact question so thank you for asking and for answering. I keep worrying that i'm not getting enough iron even though i'm trying to eat iron rich foods. I used to have iron issues but haven't in a long while but i was trying to be proactive. I guess I'll just keeping eating those iron rich…

I'm a new mom too... and I'm in the same boat... I lost the baby weight already but need to definitely tone up. I need to check out this 30 day shred since everyone is raving about it. I'm also looking for other new moms to add me for support!!!!

I should add... that doesn't mean starve yourself!!! Make sure you get all the nutrients you need! lol

I was once told that the 'hungry feeling' was actually your body going into your stored fat and burning it off! So if you embrace that hungry feeling than you'll lost weight quicker. I don't know... it worked for me a couple times when I couldn't seem to get full after a good workout. And drinking water helps too.

I have seen some funky burns. I normally just go by whatever the MFP database says. What I try to do is not eat back the calories I burned anyways.... that way, even if they are off... I still come out on top!

I am! I'm due January 1st.

I'm Alicia as well (Pronounced the same way as you)

Hello everyone. I'm due January 1st 2013. (22 weeks pregnant today). I joined MFP in January and dropped 10 of the 20lbs I had gained after quitting smoking the January before (10 was my goal for a healthy BMI). Then in April, my husband and I found out we were expecting. So far I have gained exactly 10 pounds (which…

I still eat cheese (one of those things I don't think I could ever give up)... but I try to eat old cheddar. It's easier for your body to digest since the enzymes in it are more broken down (And I'm pretty sure there's no lactose in aged cheddar). I probably don't eat as much since once I started paying attention to…

Thanks everyone!!! Truly inspiring words. I have told my hubby... I think he was worried at first because I wasn't gaining.. and now he's gone overboard. Plus he's a major junk food junkie. So I think my pregnancy, for him, is an excuse to have that stuff around since we don't normally have it in the house! hehe I just…

Congratulations to you too!!! Sounds like you're getting in more exercise than I have!!! It's been so so hot outside that it's been impossible to go for long walks like I usually do. Luckily the last few days have been a little relief so I've been catching up. Which times out good because I now have my energy back too. I…

Thanks everyone for the nice replies!!!!

I started out being 126 lbs... i'm 131 now at 15 weeks. I have 25 weeks left so I should end up being around 156-161. That's if you go by the standard charts.... of course I realize that this is not how things usually work out. But I was hoping to stick to the standard of 1 lbs a week so that the weight gain is slow. I…

All the sites as well as my doctor told me that the average range (And I should clarify that this is starting in the 2nd trimester) is about a pound a week. That's what they consider the standard.
