You can't really say "most"... maybe "many", but "most" is pushing it. Some of us are working, volunteering with multiple non-profits, giving back to our parents, friends and family members, WHILE working full-time positions and pursuing higher degrees in school, I will agree that there are the "many" that are doing…

You're not alone, my dear... I got a membership at a new gym and finally hit the weights a couple days ago. They have different clamps for the barbells and I was trying to get my squat form back on par, but the damn clamps wouldn't come off. This one guy looked at me like I was an idiot and just said "it's quite easy,…

Eyes, smile, andddd I'm learning to love my legs and new butt that I'm getting.

Go get one! Or make one... a delicious homemade burger beats a fast food one any day. Moderation > Deprivation

You're not an idiot, you were just ill-informed. I lost weight this way years ago and then my weight ballooned when I went to college. I'm finally back to eating healthily and working out (cardio with weight lifting and other exercises). I have my slip ups every so often, but I've lost quite a bit of weight the "sensible"…

This is beyond inspiring and really shows the true meaning of what this site, good nutrition, and moving more can do! Amazing work! :drinker:

^^ Exactly this. Set goals for yourself like working out 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes... until you get to a point where you're comfortable with how much you're working out. Focus on eating foods that make you feel better and keep all others in moderation (you don't have to completely rid yourself of sweets just…

On average, about 6-7... I can function better on less though! (Pulling all-nighters in college helped with that)

Sending my thoughts to you and your family. I'm sorry for your loss. I do love your tenacity to get back up and finish what you set out to do years ago. If you need motivation or a listening ear, I'm here. Good luck on your journey and know that YOU GOT THIS! :flowerforyou:

I do strength training/heavy lifting at least 3-4 days out of the week. For cardio, it depends on the week. I've been training for 5Ks (one being the Zombie run), so a ton running, jogging, spinning, biking, jump roping, hot yoga, and hiking since the weather is still nice! I might be throwing in some boxing classes soon…

Thanks for this!:drinker:
