Yikes! Are you trying to lose weight? You are already substantially underweight based on your BMI. Sorry if I am being rude, just not sure why you are trying to lose weight.
-
Oh my GOSH. That is...amazing!!! I'm blown away. How long did you use to reach your current weight?
-
That is actually one thing I have wondered about. I have no idea what a good amount of carbs per day is. Is the MFP default okay? What should it be set to?
-
Yes, this is what I keep thinking. In the end it is just not possible to go wrong with eating healthier and exercising, and there may be a lot of reasons that for not losing this week, so I just have to keep truckin :)

Thank you all, I really appreciate it. It's definitely been a challenge to make food that is healthier but still managing on those days where I am feeling too weak or ill to make food. It helps a lot to make chicken in oven bags, that lasts a good 3 days! I noticed some days I am under my calories but most of those days (I…

I think the biggest thing for me is that I have learned through trial and error over the last 5 years how much I can handle. I know typical triggers and I try to take those into consideration every day. Sleep is a huge thing for me. I need between 8-10 hours. It's just how it is. Some people think it sounds like a lot but…

Oh my gosh...You look amazing!!!

Are you taking vitamins? Getting enough iron? Maybe you've overextended yourself? Sounds like a lot of hard work. Are you eating enough calories? It would not be surprising that you feel sluggish if you are not getting enough calories and/or vitamins.

I probably would not go with the generic, I'd go with a restaurant choice just to be on the safe side. The frozen pizza/generic pizzas tend to be higher in sodium.

I am 5'9". I cannot imagine weighing less than 140! My first goal is 175. That is like a size 12 for me, and that would be great. I think from there I will re-evaluate.

Exact same thing happened to me when I went out for a treat meal last weekend. I knew it was going to be a good 1000 calories, but was not counting on just how many calories were in the pizza bread and dipping sauce. Live and learn! :) Now I like to enter in food before I eat it to see and get an idea, just in case.

Yes, I know what you mean. I highly recommend trying out water aerobics. It is wonderfully soothing.

If you are not feeling well and need the extra calories to fill up on healthy carbs and protein and some sugar, go for it. If you are looking for an excuse to overeat...don't do it!
-
GREAT idea. Stealing that :)

I'm unemployed due to long term illness...it's definitely a huge challenge, can't lie... There's really only one way for me to avoid eating the wrong foods-that is not buying them in the first place. Not having them in the house makes it a lot harder. I also try to fill my free time with my interests. For example I look at…

22 lbs in one month, that is amazing! YOU are my inspiration!! I am on day 16 and 8 lbs down so I hope that I can meet your achievement!
-
Amazing! I can't believe that was just 64 pounds. You look like a different person. It is great to see you so happy! I loved what you said about walking. It is so true and so underrated! 5 years ago I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome and bedridden. I was so weak and ill. Working with my physical therapist, he…

Jumping on the bandwagon of folks that are behind you 100%. I just understand that one of the biggest reasons previous diets have failed was due to crazy rules about what types of food I can and cannot eat. In fact, I actually had a huge relapse with my ME/Chronic fatigue syndrome because of one supposedly "healthy diet"…

Amazing! Cool that you took pics in the same dress over time-it is crazy watching you shrink and shrink in every photo! Very inspiring!

My hubby needs to lose weight, but we are both on our own journey. What he eats doesn't affect me. although I do get a little cranky when he pops open an ice cold Coke! I am responsible for my own decisions. He keeps all his treats up in his office and doesn't taunt me with it. He will also eat whatever I prepare for…

Love how fit you look! Very funny about people commenting that you are "naturally thin" What a moment that must have been!!! Keep it up and thanks for the MAJOR inspiration!
Sure, I love my cheat day, or as I prefer to say: "RE-FEED THERAPY" I have a weekly day where I eat about twice my daily goal, and a monthly food orgy where I eat like a man going to the electric chair for 24 hours.
LOL!!!

WOW! That is amazing! Can I ask your height?
-
Sorry, I feel so dumb here lol! I did as you said, I cannot see anywhere on the page where it says 1400-1500. The Katch McCartle number is 2078 calories. I will copy and paste the page: Entered information: 35 year old female, 69 inches tall, weighing 242 pounds. From the information that you entered, you'd like to weigh…

Hey Dan thanks for the tips. I went to the site and used the BMR tool. My BMR was 1891 calories per day. Are you saying I should eat that? Also, one of the calculators was really weird. It calculated my current BF at 27.9%. I went to the "Calculate your Goal Weight" and it said my BF was in the healthy range. I don't…

Yes absolutely. I have tried therapy and exercise and lots of other diet programs trying to overcome it, and have most of my life had an eating disorder. Recently I read "Women Food and God" which I have to say was an epiphany. It is not a religious book whatsoever. It is the first time I have really felt like I read…

I prefer Burger King. I think it is all about realizing the things you love, and what you can and cannot live without. For me its pizza. I just love it. There is no way I am cutting it out of my diet. For me that is so unrealistic. I am in this plan for life, not just for a few weeks, and I am trying to learn how to eat…

5-7 fruits sounds like a lot! Obviously everyone is different, but I personally get very nauseous from straight up fruit, and probably don't get enough of it for this very reason. Also, fruit tends to be high in calories as well. As others said, just up your veg more! The key is I think moderation in everything. That said,…
