Mine was used to start with so a little worn on the velcro part. Woo hoo. I have a blue and a tan one coming!

@ Georgiegirl. BMF is the acronym for BodyMedia Fit. It has been a great tool to get my numbers on track. @ Rubybeach. I got it used on E-Bay. Thanks Candice. It was on my wish list for a while as well. I kept looking through Craigslist and finally found this one on E-Bay so I jumped on it. I just had to know what the…

Love it. Think I will share it with my FB friends!

@ Debbie & Crystal...I waited until I had a week's worth of readings and then averaged them for my TDEE. I will probably do that every week until I can do a month average. Unless things change, I think a monthly average should work for me. @aMonkey...I got it on ebay for $65 shipped! I was ecstatic! @ Meggy...I also love…

Repeating your ticker >>Congratulations, you DID it! You look very happy and should be very proud of your hard work.

Woo Hoooo! Congrats!

It is amazing how much we take how our body works for granted. Then we get these techy little gadgets to find out how much we did not know. :) I can't wait to get my BMF tomorrow!!! I am hoping I have not been too far off...

Good job and beautiful country Mike! Loving those poses!
-
WOW! That was quick. Have fun.

Sorry Heidi...I did the "Buy it now" thing. I never win anything at auction either. :( Your Fitbit will be here before I get my BMF so you can get a head start.:flowerforyou: I can't wait to find out what is really happening inside this old body.

Thanks folks. I am trying to hang with the program. All that have seem to post good things, so I am hoping to be one of those people some day

WTG Mike! I hiked in North Carolina last summer and noticed the altitude difference too. It is a good kind of sore when you have accomplished so much!
-
Thanks Mike. This is worse than when I was not eating enough! Hope it doesn't last long.

Woo HOOOO! Congrats Stephie!!!

DITTO!!! Congrats!!

Hi Beth. I suffered from the same thing and I think I am beginning to figure it out. I am a carboholic too and would be seriously over in my carbs and not high enough in protein. I have begun to try to pack in the protein earlier in the day with less carbs so that when I get home at night I can eat the higher carb items…

I get up at 0330 to work out before I go to work. I have a 35 min commute each way on a good day, so I KNOW that after work I will not hit the gym. It is pretty much a mindset that you have to get into. I go to bed earlier than most everyone I know just so I can get up that early and still be able to perform my job duties…

Wow. Can't wait to see your 7 day update. I am afraid that is happening to me as well. Underestimating my TDEE and thereby not eating enough.....oh....if only I had a BMF :)

Thanks Lucia! You are such a workout beast. You give me a ray of hope:happy:

Congrats on your loss! I am also week 5 with no luck. I am hoping I have your patience and it eventually begins to work for me as well. I may try upping my calories next week if nothing new happens this week so see if I am still underburning.

I soooo want one of these! It would be nice to know for sure what is my TDEE. I got a real BMR test done and find that it was nearly 200 more than the calculators have me sitting so maybe I am more active than I think. I am really having a hard time justifying the expense, though. I also want to be able to see the numbers…

I started with TDEE - 15% cut. I am now 5 weeks in and have not lost anything. Gonna hang here another week and see what happens before I increase or decrease anything. I have seen 6-8 weeks trends before the scale starting going down. Hang in. We are all different. Different strokes for different folks, they say. Good…

Good morning I am beginning week 5 today. I am 53, 184#, and 5'3". I got an actual BMR test my second week so the first week I was not eating enough. I could tell right away after starting EM2WL that I felt better physically (can lift more and had more energy), and mentally (can keep my thoughts together). I felt like I…

Who knows? Maybe getting him on board with your program will benefit him as well as a side effect...

**UPDATE** Today is Day 3 Week 3 EM2WL...My body weight (183.4) is within +/_ .2 of beginning weight however, my BMR according to the Scooby calculator was too low when I had it actually checked so 10 days of this time I was probably eating less than BMR. I have lost 1/2" around my neck, 1/2" in my chest, 2" on my hips,…

Thanks Kiki. I knew you or Lucia could get it straight in my head. I will change the numbers accordingly :flowerforyou:
