I can relate! I worked many years in the clinical lab, regularly worked 8 hour days and was always moving around due to lab testing. I switched to a desk job and gained about 30 pounds. Losing weight with a schedule like yours will be challenging, but it can be done. You have to make healthier choices for your meals and…

You look awesome! Congratulations!

I'm 49 and have lost 25 pounds since the beginning of the year. I now weigh as much as I did in college. It was challenging the first week of my diet, but well worth the effort. Don't throw in the towel! Keep at it!

Yesterday, bought a pair of shorts in a size I never thought would be possible for me. Today, ran 4 miles.

I make the time to exercise during the work week, even if it's only 20 minutes. During the weekends, I'll double my workout time at the gym.

I did for many years, tae kwon do...I'll modify my kickbox DVD's with actual martial arts moves.

For me, I believe South Beach is safe. It's based on the glycemic index of foods. I've lost a total of 25 pounds since the first of the year (this was aided by regular exercise too). I was also diagnosed as pre diabetic this week, and my physician whole heartedly supports my decision to follow the South Beach plan.

I'm 5'0". I love using MFP to help me keep track of my calories which is essential in weight loss. Since you are a busy student, it's easy to fall into the fast food trap. Start by making sensible choices for your meals. Please feel free to add me as a friend.

That's awesome! Congratulations!

I eat 1200 cal or less a day, but I'm only 5'0". This works for me. On days when I plan a long distance run, then I'll increase my calorie intake to 1300-1400.

When you look forward to a weekly long distance run!

During my teen years, I had the most horrible cramping during my periods. I eventually found out that working out the week before my period eased the cramps. I don't experience much cramping now, but the exercise helps my crankiness during that time of the month.

That's an awesome time! My initial 5k time was 45 minutes.

Mine was about 2 weeks ago from someone from another department. She came to me desk to ask me a question and said, "you've lost weight." I had dropped 10 lbs.

Looks like you're getting enough calories for your weight. Maybe you are stress eating today? I agree with the others...tomorrow is another day. Exchange the peanut butter calories for healthier ones.

I'm 5'0" and my starting weight was 143 on January 1st. My current weight is 126. I've dropped a lot of weight because I follow the South Beach diet and try to stay between 1200-1500 calories a day. Exercise was also key...since I have a very stressful job, exercise has helped both mind and body. Stay motivated!

Lost about 17 lbs., still a 32G...but I should be fitted again. I'm almost sure a 30 band is better for me, but "larger" cup. My actual breast mass is still the same

I've always loved fruit...but even more so now. I've learned to control my desire for processed desserts.

I'm always hungry when it's that time of the month...it's either chocolate or salty I crave. I indulge myself just a little bit, but will always make it up with exercise.

I believe it's necessary to have a cheat meal every once in awhile. It helps teach us all things in moderation  I will be enjoying a cheat meal today!

I'm 50 and have dry skin. I alternate my foundations, Armani Luminous Silk and Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua.
