I'm petite (5'1) and weigh 150 lbs. Being shorter makes weight gain more noticeable because it doesn't have anywhere to go! hahaha. My goal is to lose 25 lbs... is anyone similar to me? I'm wondering how many calories you are eating and would love to see any progress pictures!

Hello! I am the same height and around 140 I’ve lost 5 lbs already and started my journey Jan. 20th. I have been eating less counting my calories i range from 1200 and 1500. I’ve also purchased a fitbit that allows me to calculate the deficit I need to get to my goal weight at a certain time. I’ve been running a lot, 3 miles every other day and always doing abs. However I need to start focusing on my workouts more. If I want to see results I need to pry myself out of bed!

    Good Luck Stay Motivated!

I'm 5 feet tall EXACTLY an at my heaviest I was 154. I was quite the porker lol. I have since lost weight 133- now 137 with p90x and a personal trainer. I went from a size eight to a size 3. I'm not obsessed with the scale. I count more on measurements . Since I lift weights a lot , I'd rather gain the muscle then be a loose bag of skin and bones. I eat 1800 calories six days a week( work out days) non work out days I eat 1300 ( rest day) after p 90x I will be back to working out 3-4 times a week, and recalculate my calorie intake, macros and BMR. The best way to see and get results is working out. And not cardio yourself to death. You must eat clean. You will not see results eating fast food and diet crap and processed junk all the time. God speed. I hope this helps.

I'm 5'0" and my starting weight was 143 on January 1st. My current weight is 126. I've dropped a lot of weight because I follow the South Beach diet and try to stay between 1200-1500 calories a day. Exercise was also key...since I have a very stressful job, exercise has helped both mind and body. Stay motivated!
