I just track the whole lifting session start to finish (including 90-180 second rests between sets), using a HR monitor to estimate calories... on my HR monitor I can see my HR jump up quite a bit during warmup sets (no rests between sets), then consistently spike during every full weight set then drop during each short…

I've lost 23 pounds, and for the most part keep it off. I've been fasting 2x weekly for 2 years. Good luck!

Outta the jar!

NOOOOOOO! Love my crock pot-check out pinterest-unreal possibilities

I have Hashimoto, and have been fasting for 2 years this month. No side effects here, except for losing nearly 30 pounds!! Woo Hoo!! :p

Yep-I'm gluten sensitive, and pretty much cut out all breads. I eat brown rice and quinoa for grains, and lots of salads and protein. Works for me! Good luck

I take cream cheese, dried cranberries and mix them together. Take a chicken breast, pound it flat, and season with s & p, take cream cheese mixture and put it on the chicken and roll it. Wrap bacon around it and cook it till the juices run clear-30-40 min. Outrageously good!

OMG-you crack me up! It's right up there with politics and religion-two other things I never discuss.

MEEEEEEE! Like you so much has happened over the winter-heartbreaking stuff, and now the pity party is OVER! Let's rock on, sista!

I use chicken stock instead of water. I use it as a filler in meatballs, soups, stuffed cabbage, with stir fried veggies. Get creative!
-
Chicken Thai Soup-look it up on pinterest. My daughter made it last night and substituted spaghetti for shirataki noodles-it was the BEST soup!!! Barely any calories as well, and very filling.

I'm lucky enough to have a full gym next door to me. Squash, track, tennis, weights, basketball, volleyball, and baseball fields. I'm so lucky and I know it! Usually hit the weights and ride stationary bike in the winter, ride my own during the summer. Always at lunch time.

First and foremost, kudos for not giving up the fight!!!! I'm on Armour as well, but my wonderful endo increased my meds 50%. I maintained about a 1100-1200 calorie diet, and the weight just melted off. Find a good endo, and don't give up-YOU know yourself best, and don't let the docs boss you around. I KNEW something was…

This is the most moist flavorful recipe I have EVER had! I used rice chex that I have crushed and spiced up. Good luck Parmesan Meatloaf {Gluten Free} slightly adapted from Full Bellies Make Happy Kids 1 lb ground turkey 1 lb ground beef 2 eggs 1/4 cup gluten free breadcrumbs 1/2 teaspoon dried basil 1/2 teaspoon dried…

I've been drinking coffee for evah, and it hasn't interfered with my weight loss. Although, I now mix 50/50 decaf and regular, and use 1/2 & 1/2, no sweetener.

I'm making it as I write!! 2 cups of chicken stock to 1 cup of brown rice. Cook on simmer for 38 minutes or until you see little holes in the bottom of the pan. Turn off the stove and leave it for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, saute onions and clean out the fridge of any veggies, and saute those as well. Dump in the rice, and…

I hear you-recently people have been saying the same thing to me. I just laugh and say you're used to me being a Fatty McFat Fat, and now I'm at the weight I was 6 years ago. Everyone asks me how I've done it, and I just say portion control-I've done it by the Fast Diet, and THAT would put them over the edge. But, I feel…

I've not only gone gluten free, but I'm "dieting" by doing the 5:2 eating plan, and have lost 21 pounds. My doctor upped my armour thyroid meds, so between all three, I've finally lost weight. Feel great as well!
-
That's exactly how I cook mine. When it's done, I empty out my fridge of veggies, sauté them, and then fry up the rice. I usually eat it as a side, but add beans, and you have a perfect economical meal.

When you are allergic or sensitive to gluten, you can't. Besides, I've never like pizza crust-it's too doughy. I'm gluten sensitive and feel like crap after I eat bread. I think it looks great!
-
I cook some bacon, and drain off most of the fat. I cut up the cabbabe pretty thin, and saute it with a little chicken stock utntil it is brown and tender. I serve it with the bacon bits on top, and there's never any leftovers!

OMG-looks delish!! Bump for later and thanks!

I did, and kept gaining. Now, I never do, and have lost 16 pounds. Yayyyy!

I've had and love it-if you like Haddock, you'll like Hake.

This-thanks!!

This and the stupid tootsie rolls. Huh? Anyhow, I go to use the cardio when I'm on vacation or the weekends, as I have a great gym, literally, at work. I use the leg press and pull down, free weights and that's about it. It's clean and close, and better than nothing!

I add dijon mustard, dill relish, finely chopped onion and either a 1/2 tsp of mayo or veganaise. Awesome
