Just made this yesterday! A small head of cabbage chopped, carrots, onions sauteed, San Marzano whole tomatoes that I squish, and organic chicken broth. Throw it all together after sauteeing the veggies, till everything is softened. Add a little salt, a can of Cannelini beans, Franks' hot sauce and voila!

This and I don't believe for a second the "starvation mode" theory. Eating too many calories is what got us fat in the first place. It plain and simple makes no sense to me at all, to eat more to lose. I know that I'll start the fury, but it's just that-my opinion, and my endocrinologist.

When I saw a picture of myself at my brother's wedding from the side. Not pretty, but the dress sure was! Been battling Hashimoto, but found a great endo and he's increased my meds. Have lost 9 pounds this month, so I'm happy!:wink:

I've only been fasting for 2 weeks, but I've lost 4 pounds, and feel like I've got my eating under control. I keep it around 500 calories on the day I fast, and eat well the rest of the week. I am sooooooo with you on this!!!! I have watched and weighed and exercised to no avail. I am sick of trying-I've been exercising 6 days a week, and haven't lost a pound. My body is changing, but no loss whatsoever. Very discouraging.......

I run mine alone all of the time! I put my earbuds in, pull my hat visor down and ignore everyone else. I can't stand hearing other people breathing-hence the earbuds. Go for it and good luck!

A friend of my son let me use his P90x. I like it, but can't stand the guy who talks all of the time. Sooooo-at the start of the cd, I choose music and cues-that shuts him up and I'm happy. Done.

My afternoon go to snack as of late is a banana with homemade almond butter. Just enough saltiness with the protein that I need. Almonds, peanut butter, Kind Bars-really good!

I bring my own well water to work in a stainless water bottle-I refill my cup 3x and typically guzzle the whole cup at once. I have another 8 oz. on my hour long commute home.

This, and really-I could not care less what people think of me, my weight, my hair color, blah, blah, blah. You reach a certain point in life where caring what people think is truly a waste of precious time. Just do things for yourself, and rock on-manifest your own peaceful place, and be kind-because kindness matters.....

Take a poiund and throw it into the Vitamix, with some flaxseed, a bit of salt, and fire it up! Perfect consistency! Love it out of the jar, on apples, and in my smoothies.
