  • Love your body because it works! After I had a stroke and was partially paralyzed, I longed for the days when it was fat but worked. It least I can lose weight! Getting the paralyzed to work is not so easy. I try not to judge people's journey's but if you are looking for bones sticking out I think that is looking for…
  • I also eat healthier but not "clean" I allow frozen yogurt, dark chocolate, macaron cookies, etc as long as they are in my calorie total. I do not exercise because I am disabled. Even walking two blocks is a real feat. I have lost 32 pounds so far.No magic but tracking is the key.
  • I have been doing the cut for several weeks (10) and it is time for my 1-2 week diet break and that makes me nervous! I am so afraid that I will have a hard time getting on track again so. It seemed to be working now it is stalling out. I am anticipating a scary process. I always stress in advance of stuff and it is so…
  • I eat one or a couple of squares of dark chocolate with whole hazelnuts a couple of times a week, depending on how many calories I have left. One day I had many calories left and I did an experiment to see how many squares I would eat if I could have as many as I want\ed. I ate 5 squares or about half a bar. Each square is…
  • She is correct - your exercise should be accounted for if you chose the correct activity level when you calculated TDEE. Therefore you do not eat back exercise calories UNLESS your exercise causes you go below BMR. Always make certain that you net BMR.
  • That looks like the bike version of the mid life crisis sports car-HA HA very nice!
  • I saw two people that I had not seen for months ( before I started to lose) and they both said something. It was about 30 pounds.
  • I am fat with relatively big breasts but instead of feeling sexy I feel matronly so I say go for healthy not hagard, I just saw a " success" story where the person looked best in the during photo so do not get too thin - it is not attractive or healthy! When you get close ask for opinions on if you need to lose more. Look…
  • You look amazing. I don't know if with my age & disability- that that is realtic goal but I sure would love to look like that. You look like an "after" picture that was already airbrushed! Awesome!
  • I took the plunge 8 weeks ago & I am glad I did. It works! 8.5 down so far!

  • Whatever works - do it - everybody gets so worked up. EM2WL is working for me. I was skeptical at frst too- sounded too good to be true but after a little readjusting, I lost 8.5 pounds in 2 months by eating at TDEE-15%. If you believe in the deficit theory, it IS a deficit. A smaller one so it goes slow. Can you get with…
  • I am sedentary ( I might be between sedentary & light) becvause of a disability and I have lost 8.5 pounds so far on EM2WL. I am 44. If it can work for me - it can for anyone- good luck!If you need anymore friends who eat feel free to add me !
  • 4 months but I was 39 & he was 44. Got married 1 year from the day we met.
  • Hi I started EM2WL on April 23 and lost 8.5 pounds by June 23rd - I lost the first 23.5 the starving myself way. But you only want to lose 7 "pounds? I did & do have alot to lose, I would not be able to say it works at your last 7 pounds. I think your plan sounds good.-"Maybe I'll do a happy medium (BMR net goal) until…
  • You look great! I would say in the 5-10 range & I agree with the work mostly on definition comments. Good for you!
  • There is probably a test from when I was in the hospital but I never remember to fast so I don't really have a comparison number just know that under 200 is good.
  • Ps - I never did the full reset - this was eating between BMR & TDEE-15% cut.
  • I have been doing EM2 ZWL since April 23, 2012, I lost 8.5 pounds since then. The first week I lost a pound, second week I lost 1.5 pounds. Third week scale went up but I never recorded it so I do not remember how much. By three weeks after I recorded that second loss, I was down another pound. The next week after my gain…
  • 10 years younger more like 15-20 years younger-way to go!
  • I take my measurements about once a month. So far so good!
  • GC is not mean - he is actually kind of sweet. I am 44 but feel hree to add me. Sorry about the divorce.
  • If anything, the more my husband bugged my about weight, the less I wanted to do anything. And even after a health crisis. When they say you have to be ready, it is really true. Of course my mom's nickname for me was opposite-poposite as a child. I am in the same situation with my husband- he needs to lose 40-50 pounds.…
  • Add me too I eat and log in every day!
  • Hi My first week I lost one pound, 2nd week a pound and a half, then I gained the third week, but i am back on track after that. So if you happen to gain, don't get discouraged, it will correct itself. I have lost 8.5 pounds after I started eating at BMR so rest assured - it does work!
  • What a jerk - you seem to be at a healthy weight but if that Quack scared you get a second opinion to rule out diabetes. If I was at the weight I was when I first went on a diet as a teen, I would kiss the ground!
  • I don't know because I am not your height weight or age but the scooby calorie calculator says for you to eat at least 1500 calories even if you are sedentary & by the way I have lost over 30 pounds with no exercise since January ( had a stroke so cannot exercise ) so it can be done!
  • Actual Midgets or is this a food that I am unaware of?
  • GC- you are so funny - I laughed out loud until my husband asked what I was reading. My husband & I don't have children and the sequence sounds pretty accurate except the girls I know all hate themselves and are much more likely to criticize when they see a mirror. The "I'm awesome" sounds much more like my hubbie, I think…

  • Quinoa is awesome! If you had a Trader Joe's in the area, they have a frozen quinoa melange with some root vegetable that is totally yummy!
