  • You did exactly what i would have done! But what's done is done. You can't change that now. What you can do is start your journey to a healthier you. Take a look around the site. There are helpful tools here. I like being able to know the calories and things in my food without having to figure it all out by myself. There…

  • Hello! I stay at home with my son because I am disabled so I know your worries. eating with the kids or what the kids want. Munching while you are watching tv or bored. Its so easy while you are at home. but first and foremost...try to get the whole family eating better. So don't buy the food you can't have. If it's not in…
  • I hope you feel better. Was a really rough day for you. Maybe tomorrow will be better
  • Wow! OK so it was w rough day I see. Does you mother know you are on journey to a healthier life? Maybe you should let her in on the secret. IHOP as yummy as it is, is a HORRIBLE place to dine by health standards. But even so the have a whole grain blueberry pancake that isn't as bad as some other things. But the whole…
  • Make sure your sodium intake is low, you take multivitamins, drink LOTS of water, and change up your routine. Try simple things like exercising at home playing the Wii or something (on top of your regular cardio). If you still have troubles talk to your doc. It may be your meds. I know mine cause weight gain typically so I…

  • I couldn't see the pic but I looked on your profile and there is a HUGE difference! You look wonderful! Great job! Congrats!
  • Excellent! You look amazing! Way to stick to it! :)
  • Well I'm 5'4" so thats...64". That would mean my waist should be 32? It's currently 36.
  • Supposedly the more weight you carry around the middle the higher rate of diabetes and heart disease. I nee to trim my middle. I have skinny legs, my arms could be trimmed a bit but I'm not huge by any standards. But my waist is unporportional to the rest of me.
  • Me too! Me too!!! :) (I weigh in every day...a little OCD I suppose)
  • Wow! Thanks for the info!
  • Well depending on your job you could do exercises while there... Belly or butt tightening squeezes Leg lifts If you have a job on your feet there is walking in place Other than that try a waking a little early and squeezing in something. Going for a walk on your breaks. Riding a bike to work or walking if its close enough…
  • Is it a machine where all the settings are the same and you've entered your weight?
  • First off welcome and congrats on taking the first step to a healthier you! Definitely look for an alternative contraception because it sound like the IUD is the wrong one for you. talk to your doctor about your conerns. Maybe he can suggest something. Now cut down your sodium to reduce your water weight gain, eat healthy…

  • Thanks :)
  • First off...what was your motivation to join this sight? Is it strong enough to motivate you to eat right? Beyond that lots of water and fiber will fill you up quick. Eat the same foods but made with healthier ingredients...like instead of baking chicken in shake n bake, mash up some low sodium ritz and use that for…
  • I would suggest the first step is to bring your nutrition and exercise daily printouts to your doctor. He may suggest some helpful changes. Also multivitamins and water help. On top of that gelatin helps hair and nails grow so try eating some jello. Or powdered gelatin mixed into some milk.
  • Don't talk like that! You are beautiful. Beyond that starving yourself won't help. Just dedicate your self to the healthiest eating possible and exercise daily and not only will you look better but you will feel better.
  • I usually go at night after my younger kids go to bed. My daughter (who is babysitter certified) stays with them while my fiance and I go to the gym. On the weekends our gym closes early so I go in the morning, but it's not as effective for me. I'm FAR from a morning person. I'm just too tired in the morning to bother. But…
  • I don't have any idea how long recovery will be for you but continue eating healthy and you can do upper body work while seated that may help. Talk to you doctor to find out what is safe for you.
  • Skinny cow ice cream brand anything! Really yummy :) Although fruit would be a better option
  • Working it off slowly does help. Also try Vitamin E. It helps skin. Beyond that talk to a doctor. But I looked it up and found these tips. If they really work I don't know. #1 Think of how long it took your body to reach your highest weight. It didn't happen overnight, so you can't really expect your skin to become taut in…
  • I agree...the weight didn't go on overnight and will not come off over night. But if you are still having troubles try to find out why. First are you too high on carbs? Are you too high on sodium? Are you too low on calories or water? What time of day to you eat? Are you on medications? There are many reasons you may not…
  • If you've drastically changed your eating and exercise then it is possible. It's mostly water weight and your body adjusting. Typically the heavier you are the more you may drop at the beginning. It is not a result you will be getting regularly. Once your body adjusts it will not have as much water to release and your…
