If starvation mode is a thing that actually exists, I'm pretty sure you'd be in it from only eating 700 calories a day. It's really not enough.

Oh my god, this thread needs to stop. I have never craved pizza so much in my life.

Thanks! I don't have a landlord because I'm living on campus still, just in non-freshman housing. I will check to see if there is a coil and if I can't get it to work I will complain to the housing desk. I haven't had very much experience cooking at all, so I wasn't sure if it was the stove or just me...thanks very much…

I started at 231 pounds around two years ago and dropped to 180 eating "dirty" with zero exercise within around six months by sticking to 1800 calories. I've maintained give or take ten pounds since then (although I'm currently trying to lose again).

Okay, I'll try using dumbbells for now. Thanks very much!

Thanks, everybody! I really appreciate all the feedback. I will take another rest day. :)

My girlfriend and I are both overweight (she is actually on the obesity line), but she doesn't have any interest in losing weight. It's hard for me to understand why you might feel the need to drag your boyfriend into your personal fitness journey in any way other than encouragement and support, because it's his body, but…

Wow, congrats! You look great!! :)
