  • I have to admit my experiences have been the other way around, the lower carbs I went the better I felt, when I was doing Zero Carb my depression symptoms disappeared completely and shark week I had no cravings at all - something I am anxious to get back to
  • Woo hoo, today has been great - found it very easy to stay on track and haven't felt like eating carbs at all - not quite sure what has been different but it definitely feels great and I hope it carries on like this
  • I am jumping back onboard SW - 282lbs GW - 140lbs
  • I have one of those vibrio plates, that has turned into a clothes horse @samanthaluangphixay - I seem to go through phases of getting different equipment and it all falls into wasteland, I have found walking outside makes me feel so much better and it's free
  • I have back pain and stomach pain - so not quite joint pain, but I do notice certain foods make things worse - I know carbs definitely make things worse and also certain veggies too - am in the process of trying to identify which ones I need to avoid
  • Hope the dentist goes ok later @ProCoffeenator I am feeling very positive today, first time I have felt like this in a long time - so I am pushing myself to go as LC as I can manage - not quite aiming for ZC today, but think I am going to get pretty close - so glad to be back feeling good Think my positive thoughts a day…
  • I have read about someone who regularly does water fasting, but that was more for histamine intolerance and it helps to improve that for a while. I would love to give fasting a go, but need to get back on track with the food first - good luck with whatever you choose to do.
  • I love Aldi, their meat is fantastic quality here in the U.K., as I tend to do ZC as much as I can this means my food bill stays reasonable while eating good quality steaks - it's fab
  • My mindset is getting better everyday, food yesterday was better and I didn't binge which is a great step forward, my meals were planned and I stuck to the plan, so today I am going to take the leap of faith and see if I can do a full day of LC without the binge in the evening - the really annoying thing is the evening…
  • Still struggling to get through the day fully without resorting to carbs, but the cravings are getting less so I am doing something right, been out shopping today and haven't bought anything Carb heavy for me (although have a few bits for my son as he won't give them up yet) so am keeping them separate away from my stuff…
  • Hiya to you all, haven't been on for ages, but jumping back into the fray, have put on nearly all the weight I lost last year so starting again - going to take each day as it comes - and get back on track slowly, hopefully by the end of January I will be back to <20g carbs, has been a tough stressy few months but 2017 is a…
  • I loved it when I did meat only and my aim is to get back there this year, not only did my body feel better for it, I lost all depression symptoms, my ultimate goal is to get back to ZC and stay there
  • I started in the class of 2016 - did really well before life kicked in and I lost my way, but am jumping back on the wagon knowing this WOE is the most fantastic thing I have ever done and going to aim to make 2017 the year I finally kick binge eating, and weight issues for good
  • Ok putting it out there my stats to begin this new year:- Starting weight - 20st 2lbs Goal weight - 10st Target for January - to lose 1st
  • I am not a newbie anymore, but really looking forward to getting back onboard the wagon and feeling the love from all you lovely people again
  • A lot of my resolutions are mentally related - am not going to do the usual lose weight exercise more resolutions as these tend to prove too much stress so mine this new year are as follows:- 1. Keep a journal - making notes of positive things that are happening 2. Work on my binge eating issues and try to overcome them 3.…
  • Seriously need this, have had a bad end to 2016 - but 2017 is going to be a much calmer and more positive year, going to be working on my mindset and dealing with binge eating problems, and definitely aiming to get back to under 20g Carb total - although first plan is to get the eating under control first. Have put on…
  • Has been tough getting back on track, but it's a new month and had my weigh in today and have lost 4.5lbs this week, it wasn't a perfect week but to get that from a not good week just what could I achieve, going to give myself a good talking to and take this new month as a fresh start. Time to hit the ZC life fully - this…
  • I am starting to feel more in control, had a good day yesterday no majors off track - so feeling good and hoping I can end the year really well - set myself a goal to have lost 5st this year - I am not quite going to manage that, but I think 4st is possible which considering I could have ended up back where I started I am…
  • Have been struggling to get back on track but taking each day as it comes and eventually it will become easier
  • I found I went the other way, have suffered with depression for over 25 years and have been on and off meds for many years, when I started low carb my body started to feel better and I eventually attempted zero carb (under 5g per day) and was able to give up all meds - I have fallen off the wagon and have found the…
  • Finally starting to feel more positive, has taken me a few months, but can see the light at the end of the tunnel
  • Had a bad day yesterday - but I am keeping strong and keeping ZC in my sight every day I will strive to do it, as even if I have a blip if the majority of the day is good I am going to keep getting to my goal, maybe a little slower than I would if I was perfect, but I know I am always going to have a battle with food
  • Finally decided to get around to changing my name on here so gone from kathrout1973 which is extremely boring (my name and birth year) to something a bit more fun - as I am doing meat (ZC) my son calls me a carnivore so my nickname on games we play together is carnivorekat -
  • Yay to finding the light switch, that's half the battle. I did almost perfect yesterday but had a little blip just before bed - most of what I ate yesterday was processed meats though so today going for pure cuts of meat see if it stops the temptations - ended the day with stomach pain again, somalso hoping pure meat will…
  • I did lighterlife (TFR) - lost loads of weight ended up having an almighty binge on KFC and ended up in hospital thinking I was having a heart attack - thankfully was just indigestion, I have done TFR since then but always been careful about what I ate when I have gone back onto food - although find LCHF much better - lose…
  • I am definitely doing it @esaucier17 - today was a complete day on track so pleased with myself - although I am having a long term goal of getting to 2017 doing ZC, I have also made a pact with @PamamaJane to take each day as it comes and aim for perfection one day at a time. My food choices today still weren't perfect but…
  • Oooh that's worth trying - I had smoked streaky bacon, which I don't usually have - will get some without the nitrates and see - as I love bacon
  • I totally understand how you are feeling, have had an awful few months where I have fallen off track big time have struggled to get back on track again but think I am finally getting there, definitely see this woe as a journey where I will have detours occasionally- I know I am able to do it properly and feel great doing…
  • Ok my first full day back on plan, had eggs and bacon for breakfast and my gastro pain is back so not happy as love my bacon - but think I need to stop eating it as need to get my gut pain under control - I will admit that carbs didn't have the same effect on my stomach when I was eating them - although had a lot of…
