That's so awesome! Congrats on all of your hard work.

After making it down to my Feb. goal weight of 168 last week, I ended up gaining a pound. I'm ending on 169. I still did really well this month and lost a lot of inches. I think I'm experiencing my first plateau, though. Not sure how to proceed from here. :-(

I'm 5'9" and my current weight is 170ish. Would love to be down to 140 or 135. Love all the tall ladies on MFP.

One thing that helps me with my salty/crunch cravings is roasted chickpeas. You rinse and pat dry a can, mix it up with a little olive oil and whatever spices (2 cloves of garlic, some lemon juice, salt and pepper is my current favorite). You spread them out on a greased baking sheet and put them in the oven for 30 minutes…

I'm 5'9" and I always got asked why I didn't play basketball or volleyball. After I would explain to people that I preferred to do the school musicals (and had no coordination for either sport) they would just say, "But you're so tall!"

At my heaviest (right before Christmas) I was 184. I think I started MFP around 180. After about a month, I'm 10 pounds down! I didn't think that this was actually going to work, because I figured 1200 calories would be too little to eat, but instead I've made healthier choices and only eaten when I'm actually hungry, not…

I've been sinus/chest sick on and off for the last several months which makes exercise hard right now. I'm on antibiotics, though, so hopefully in a week or so i can work out again. Since exercise is out of the question right now, I'm going to focus on these things: Drinking 100 oz of water a day. Eat less carbs! Eat less…

I know one thing that can help clear nasal passages is something called a neti pot. I use it to help relieve sinus congestion/pressure, but maybe you could give it a try. It's just saline solution, so you don't have to worry about your heart racing. They're also available at pharmacies.

Ah! The alcohol will be my problem, too. I'm already trying to plan my weekend - Brunch on Saturday and then Super Bowl Sunday?! It's going to by a tempting weekend.

Oh my gosh. I just started and you are a total inspiration. This can actually be done!

Awesome job!

Count me in, too. I'm fairly new to this, but find keeping track of things (calories/workouts) on my phone pretty easy. Being a part of this and having support would be excellent! ETA: I clicked the link, but it doesn't bring me to the group. I'm new here and hoping someone can help!

Definitely to wear shorts and skirts if not this summer, then definitely by next summer. I've always been super embarrassed by my legs/butt/hips, so it'll be nice to wear lighter, cooler clothes. Pants in DC summers are truly horrible
