The fear of loss of control is very common so maybe just regard your new (higher) calorie goal exactly the same as your calorie goal was to lose for a while until you become accustomed to maintenance. i.e. Still "on a diet" but the goal number is different. It does get easier... Just takes a while for the mind to catch up…

I count calories, I have lost almost 100 pounds...today my diary includes, pizza and an ice cream snickers bar, taco salad and a "diet" cupcake. some days I eat lower calorie foods some days not.

Cheat days for me are a thing of the past. They would sabotage me everytime, I would go hog wild, I would gain 3 pounds water weight which would then take me 3-5 days to get off and then it would be about time for a cheat day again. It wasn't worth it. I finally made it to goal and eat at maintenance and everyday feels…

I naturally have started IF though this journey, I typically don't eat until anywhere between noon and 2pm. I typically don't get hungry until then. Only prob with that is that since I started maintenance I am having a very hard time getting enough calories in and I am still losing weight BUT I can still "afford" to lose…

Just for fun I looked at 5 weeks from tmr and it says I would weigh 137.2, so that is even closer to my current weight of 138.2 :)
-
I just looked back 5 weeks and it says in 5 weeks I would weigh 135.9 and I actually weigh 138.2 so not to far off AND 5 weeks ago today I weighed 145.6...so in 5 weeks I have lost 7.4 pounds ( almost 1.5 lb a week)

I take Vyvanse I have this same problem of it total cutting my appetite, if I don't force myself to eat, even though I am not hungry I will only eat about 500 calories a day, I did that (on accident) for about a week and didn't lose an oz.! no idea why, but I am forcing myself now to try and eat at least a 1000 a day,…

I could have wrote this! This is me exactly! I have reached my goal weight that I set for myself but I have lowered it 10 pounds because I am so afraid of gaining. I only know how to do 2 things at this point, lose weight or gain weight and maintenance terrifies me! I am no were near "to skinny" still considered overweight…
-
my original goal was 140 and I reached that and after looking at my body I am now going to go for 130.

Thanks!!

A friend of mine said " Wow I didn't even recognize you! What are you doing? You look great!" ME: " just doing the good old fashion way, diet and exercise." HER: " are you taking anything?" ME: No, I don't take any supplements or pills or drinks, nothing" HER: " REALLY!!! WOW!!" LOL she was shocked that I am not taking…

Eat "bad" 1 or 3 days out of a month is NOT going undo everything you have done. Enjoy! This time of the year only comes once a year. Be mindful and don't completely over do it but EAT AND BE MERRY!!

THIS!! I couldn't have said it better! I am very happy with my body and how it looks (in clothes), I love the size that I am in and the cute *kitten* clothes I can now buy. But I am the exact same person with the same thoughts on the inside. I thought losing almost 100 pounds would "change my world", it didn't, my world is…

If eating low carb I will added carbs back in for a week or so and then go back to low carb and I start losing again. Or if counting calories I will up my calories and then drop them back down. Either way works for me every single time.

I am 5'2" 140 pounds and I am in a US size 6 pants medium shirt

The few that do ask me I just say...the old fashion way, counting calories and eating less. Amazing is how many shocked looks I get like they are shocked and amazed that that actually works! LOL Everyone wants there to so badly be a magic pill that I have discovered.

My band size got smaller but my cup size stayed the same because of all the extra skin I have now. They remind me of the song "do your ears hang low" "do your boobs hang low? Do they wobble to and fro?" UMMM YES they do!! I have lost 90 pounds

I didn't read every word of all the previous posters but I scanned it. If you are maintaining at 1200, eat 1000. I also maintain at 1200. I actually had a test done that reads and registers what MY body burns simply sitting and breathing. And it said just this, I maintain at 1200. It sucks.

I don't post anything on FB about my loss. I have posted current pics of myself but not said anything about weight loss. I have actually lost friends because of my weight loss. Its crazy how people react to my weight loss.

As a person who truly struggles with binge eating disorder, what you described is not a binge in any way ,shape or form. What you describe is simply poor food choices (if your trying to eat healthy). Trust me after a binge there is no way you would 500 calories left over, it would be more like 2000 over your calories.

All you ladies that are 5'2" or so that weight 115-125lbs....what is your bone structure? Big boned? Small boned? I am big boned 5'2" and I feel like I would be way to skinny at 125lbs but I really don't know because I have never been that small before. Right now I am 142.
-
I totally agree with the take a break thought. I have done that on and off through my journey. I get burnt out on "dieting" so I take a maintenance break for a month or so and then get back at it. It has worked great for me.
-
It very well could be just extra skin. I have lost 88 pounds, from 230 to 142lbs, wearing a size 6 pants, I still have a lot of belly, showed my doctor and he said that is all skin not fat. So keep that in mind.

THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS!! WTH is that about??? It is strange isn't it??!!
-
I am sure many of these have already been said but I will say them for me: completely being able to cross my legs and being able to bend while my legs are crossed (no belly in the way anymore) Bones, I have so many of them, I never knew that! LOL everywhere I touch is a bone! At times if I am lying down I will look and see…

I am only 5'2" but I have gone from 230 to 145 pounds

I am interested in doing this. Is there somewhere on the net to go to get the details or do you have to buy the book? TIA!
-
I am wondering what exactly you mean by intermitting fasting? You only eat 2 big meals a day instead of 5 small ones? Thanks!
-
I could have wrote your post myself!! lol I have been doing this for 3 months, I have lost 46 pounds and a ton of inches. The last month my life has been crazy busy and alittle stressful. I havent lost any weight in that time. I have just been maintaining. Not only has life been crazy but I am just burnt out. Hopefully…
