Wow Fit goat way to stick with a thread!! kudos to you!! Anyway I struggle with the calorie counting thing. I never know what to do, lol. I do log my food in MFP just to keep a record of what and how much I eat. Many days my calories on come to any where from 800 to 1200. I eat LC, whole foods and this is just where my…

OP I hear you and I have really struggled with making the decision on weather to do low carb or calorie counting too. I finally decided to do low carb because I know what carbs and sugar does to my body, even though my mouth LOVES carbs and sugar, my body HATES it. Soooooo I have finally accepted the fact I will have to be…

A pound is a pound...doesn't matter if it is a pound of muscle or a pound of fat or a pound of feathers, a pound is a pound. I get so tired of hearing myths like "muscle weighs more than fat so if you are working out that is why you are gaining weight" BS.....muscle takes up less space than fat but it still weighs the same.

I also have an ED.....It was only about 6 months ago that I even came to realize I had a ED. About 2 months ago I sought help from my Dr. and a therapist and I truly accepted my issues and have been working on them like crazy. I am so much better today than I was 2 months ago, I still have a long way to go but so much…

I will read up on it, thanks! I think I already do that, not on purpose, I eat last at about 7pm, and then don't eat again until about 2pm the next day, it is hard to get my calories in way though.

I have thought about this, just staying where I am for now, letting my body rest and trying again in Jan. I am very happy with my body size right now but really want to be more like 130 to have a cushion in the ups and downs.

Surgery is the only cure.

THIS!! I could not have said it better myself!!

I knew I would get slammed for saying that and that's ok, its just IMO. I am NOT body shaming anyone! Its just IMO. IMO you should dress for your body type, no matter what it is. Just because a person can wear something doesn't mean they should, I am not putting anyone down or body shaming or hating on anyone, it is just…

I believe it can be done as well. So you have a few choices...power through it, ask your doctor to change your meds to ones that don't cause weight gain or have your doctor help you get off the medication. My daughter is on these meds and gained weight and she cant get off of them and we cant change them because it took so…

I don't log coffee and I drink a lot of it. Usually between 4 and 6 cups a day. I prob do use it to replace food.

please don't take offence to this but size 22 has no business wearing jeggings. Sorry but it is true, I was once a size 22 so I know from experience. Try lane Bryant, catch a sale and you can get some amazing deals and their stuff is great!

You simply have to figure out what works for YOU. Everyone is different.

I see the scale move right away but people never notice on me until I have lost at least 30 pounds.

If it truly is a problem, you need to seek help, therapist. if it is only every once in a while, once or twice a month, that is not truly a binge problem. I think most "normal" people "binge" or overeat a couple times a month. A binge problem is more like 5+ times a month.

I totally agree with you. I am taking Vyvanse, which is an amphetamine, I am taking it for Binge eating disorder. I have been told by soooo many internet people, drugs wont fix the real problem, drugs are bad, etc. Well no *kitten*, but the medication DOES help me to deal with the symptoms WHILE I work with my therapist…

I am struggling with night eating, because it gets dark so early I feel like it is late and then look at the clock and it is only 6pm and I am done with my calories for the day. UGH!!!

Eating out!

I agree with everyone, this seems like way more than a lay person should handle. plus with all of his " eating conditions" he isn't serious about it and not ready to commit. Good luck.

umm EVERYTHING "good" its no wonder I was 100lbs over weight, I was eating at least 3 portions of everything

I have passed my goal and now I am after my ultimate goal, I started May at 190lbs, today 138lbs, ultimate goal is 130. I love the way I feel. I look great with clothes on, lol. I have a lot of extra skin (my highest weight was 230). Although I have to admit, when I hit my goal of 140lbs I was very disappointed, MFP did…

Yep this for me too word for word. Also bored and sometimes I really have no idea why, just this driving need to stuff my face. I recently started with a therapist and the new BED medication Vyvanse it is helping soooo much, but I do still struggle from time to time but my time between binges are a lot more now than they…

Are you wanting to eat healthy or mainly just wanting to get the calories in?
-
yes see your doctor and get help. I just recently started seeking help because I knew I couldn't do this alone (23 yrs proved that to me) I am now seeing a therapist and taking the new binge eating disorder medication, Vyvanse, which has really helped with the impulse control part of it. binge eating is cause by mental…
