It varies. Sometime I log afterwards but when I first started I would do it before I ate; I think I sort of know some of the carbs and calories now because I done it so much in the beginning.

I believe this is true. I was about 45 pounds heavier this time last year when my father passed away and someone thought that my younger cousin was my daughter. When I went to my doctor's appointment and the scale was getting to a higher three digit number. I recieved a print out with my discharge paperworks on weight loss and realized that I could eat better and with the help of MFP I am over 30 pounds down. :smile:
