July 2012 to October 2012 on MFP **PIC heavy**

its been 3 months on MFP and its really paying off! I was a skeptic at first but this program really works if you stay honest to the program, if you cheat you are only hurting yourself! Below are two pictures from my wedding and shortly afterwards. Once i saw these, they inspired me to get my butt in gear. It took may failed attempts at exercise programs and crazy diets before i found MFP on June 29th of this year.
After committing to the 1250 calories set by MFP and getting a great workout program from Men's Fitness ("The workout for every guy : Heavyweight" I have it if you want it) and completely changing the way we eat for three months and never missing a workout the results were great! My wife and I just finished the Warrior Dash in MO. this weekend which was out motivation to never miss a workout and cheat since the race is no easy task. I was terrified that I wouldn't finish the race, but when i did i was ready to run it a second time! Now i plan to train for the tough mudder and run that in a year or two.
Here are some pictures of us now after just three months of dedication:
So from fat and lazy to running a 5k in the mud in three month! It works and a lot of the reason i never gave up is cause the community here in MFP is great! Thanks to every one for helping me go from 225 lbs. to 196 lbs. in three months. All your success stories helped my wife and i grit our teeth and say "we can too!" The fitness journey is far from over but if i can do this so can you. I will be happy to share anything I can with anyone who may want so help on their journey!

Nice work!!! Glad MFP works for you. It sure helps me too...I have lost 35+ on my way to 43! Loss has slowed, without the wonderful friends I have found here and the supportive (mostly) community, I would have had a much harder time staying motivated!0
