OMG! Thank you for posting your thoughts on this. I used the fitbit one and lost all my extra weight eating fairly close to what it said I burned. When my "one" died and I upgraded to the charge with HR monitor....the calorie counts were much higher. At first I thought "yay! I can eat more?". Nope...using the counts from…

I've just "checked-in" and have found that after a couple of years of up and down I'm now back up 30 lbs. I NEED to get this weight back off. I feel physically awful...as well as mentally awful. I knew when I got the weight off that the only way to keep it off would be to track forever and I've now proved it. I just want…

What a wonderful job. I'm so happy for you. :)

Don't you want to live?

You are my hero. I'm 40 5'2" and 140 now. I'd never be able to maintain at 2100. I was eating about that level for a year and my weight slowly crept up. That's why I'm back in the game..trying to lose the 10lbs I gained back. What is your lifestyle/career and what is your exercise routine if you don't mind me asking? I'd…

No further responses needed. Thanks to everyone for their replies. Special thanks to Grace215...that was the type of response I was looking for.

Its supposed to help suppress appetite and cravings. I'm fully aware of how, what, how much I'm supposed to eat. I was hoping to find out of it helped anyone with those issues because I'm miserable. I would just like to be one of those people who eat to live instead of living to eat. I'm 40 and 5'2". I have an appetite and…

No they really can't. People assume that the person is an idiot who is looking for a quick fix. I'm sorry I even asked.
-
Thank you for your response, however I'm only actually looking for people who can answer the question. You've not taken this prescription. I'm looking for people who have.

I ready the first 50shades and part of book two...couldn't do anymore than that because it was just getting too repetitive and I was annoyed with the poor writing. I too enjoyed the Crossfire series better.

I bought a Leslie DVD. It helps me get my walk in when the weather outside isn't the greatest and doesn't require a treadmill purchase. What you also may not realize is that her DVD's have you stepping side to side, front and back, leg lifting and arm movements....you'd look awfully silly walking backwards down the street.…

Comments like these kinda bother me. I'm a mom who works full time at a job and then full time at home. Is being healthy and fit important to me? YES ! I try to fit my excersize in where/when I can but I've stopped beating myself up about not being able to do it as often as I'd like. The reality of it is ..sometimes there…

ME!!!!! SW 160 CW 136 GW,,,,I don't really know. I'm ok with this weight but I would not mind taking off another 10lbs. I've maintained this weight for almost a year.

I'd also like to point out that just because a kid is overweight does not mean that their parent does not care and is feeding them crap. Often times the kid has eyes bigger than what their calorie needs are and as they get older and are feeding themselves...it just adds to the issues. I have been trying to help my daughter…

I think she means she lays a wooden spoon right next to the potato and then cuts down into the potato using the wooden spoon as a type of "stop" indicator so she doesn't cut all the way through.

I'm in the same situation. What makes maintaining the hardest for me is that I still have to track and count my calories. I'm short, I'm older, and we eat out a lot. That being said...if you really look at the big picture you can eat at maintenance 6 out of 7 days a week. If one day a week you go over...over time the…

Your one of those women....the one one who walks in a room and everyone gravitates too. It's your smile. Its the one that lights up the room. I

I use either barilla plus or ronzoni smart taste brands. I don't care much for the taste of whole wheat pasta but I love the taste of those two brands.

Me too. Anytime I eat a high carb bfast I'm starving. Eggs and low fat meat, cottage cheese, yogurt....those are the types of food that will hold me for a while.

cottage cheese, avocado, brussel sprouts..

My Fitbit has been the single most important gift I've ever received. I'm a busy Mom with busy kids and a full time job. My excersize is not consistant so the fitbit helps me to adjust my intake on a daily bais to maintane my small 10 - 15% deficit.

This!!! I WISH I was one who had trouble meeting calorie goals. I eat healthy 90% of the time and I still have issues with not going over.

I have a trike too as well as a regular bike. Honestly...the trike takes more effort than a regular bike. More wind drag and the bike itself is heavier.

You can make a low fat cheesecake with it.

Wow...people sure are being rude and maybe you should try one of the DVD's before you pass judgement. I love Leslie and I use her DVD's when the weather is nasty or cold or its too dark to be out walking safely. For some people just starting out the DVD's could be a challange. Really people.. Some people are morbidly obese…

Oh how I WISH I didnt have to be at work until 9am! I have to be at work at 7.

There is a lot of truth to this. I notice the rate of obesity in our country big time when I go to my childs school. When I was in elementary school there were probably less than five of us that were chubby. Now....most of the kids in my daughters class are overweight to a certain degree and some of them are down right…

The fanny pack holster. My husband has one of these.

I could have written this same post. Same thing here. My doc told me after the fact that my weightloss at the time probably fixed my problem. Why are docs so hesitant to tell overweight women with ovulation issues to lose weight before they try anything else? Congrats!
