I don't know how people find time to work out HOURS a day. You must really love working out. I'm lucky to find 30mins. Today I walked for 45 mins of my hour long lunch. I'll walk laps around a shopping center while I wait to pick up my kid. I get up at 5:30 to go to work..I won't get home until 10 tonight. I'd say fitting…

This is what I beleive too...I've just never put it into words. Thanks

I've had a fitbit for almost a year and a half. I love it. The info it gave me right from the beginning was what allowed me to know just how much I could eat and keep a reasonable deficit.

lol...I've been running that hamster wheel since October. I guess what I've really done is figured out a method for me to maintain by current weight. I have about a 250 calorie deficit through the week and blow it every weekend.

I do all of my indoor exercise barefoot. I hate shoes and don't wear them unless I'm outside. Even at work the first thing I do when I get there is kick my shoes off.

This is how I look at sweets! Its gotta be something homemade if its baked goods or a gooey dessert, my favorite chocolate if its candy, or the best ice cream I can find if its ice cream I want. I"m not going to waste my hard work on low quality crap.

I keep Arnold sandwich thins in the house and thomas light english muffins or sara lee or pepperidge farm light bread. I've found that the price on bread is significantly less on these items at my local BJ wholesale club than at the grocery store. Those breads freeze well too especially if you plan on toasting them…

I'm with you! When I am sendentary my TDEE is 1600 accorning to my fitbit. I had a bodbod assessment done...and yes they do give you a BMR with your readout...at least they did for me. It was less than 1100. I wish the fitbit site had a way of entering your body fat percentage so that you could get more accurate results…

Honestly I'm trying to maintain my muscle and take off the last 10lbs. I try to fit in 2 or 3 30min workouts with weights at home. I use weights for those workouts that are 10 ,12, 15, or 20lbs depending on the exercise. Once I'm at goal or close to it I plan on switching to maintenance and try to build some additional…

I always thought I was 5' 2". I was soooo happy about that extra inch. I didnt think anyone would take this thread to a dirty place....but thanks! I laughed my butt off reading your posts.

I was sedentary as a kid and I loved to eat. By high school I busy enough to slim down a bit...just from being busy all the time. Went to college and started gaining and then went on diet after diet. Finally lost a bit when I was trying to get preggo's and actually managed to end up even a bit lighter after baby one.…

Actually...I like it when people ask. The number I give them is less then what they think. That gives me the opportunity to stress to them (its always someone who also needs to lose weight) the importance of lifting while losing weight!
-
Also...she probably was actually being absent minded about your diet...but was trying to be thoughtful and do something nice for someone. You know...sometimes people are not trying to sabotage ...they just don't think.

MY boss is exactly like that too. He'll open a candy bar or pack of cookies and leave one..just one on my desk. He knows I'll eat it eventually. He drives me nuts with it. Sometimes it turns into a game and I'll keep putting it back on his desk, he'll put it back on mine...etc. until one of us gives in and eats it. It's…

I've got an 11 and a 7 year old. My husband works late and I work early. I try to work out every day but sometimes it just does not happen. I try to make sure I walk at lunch time even if it's just going to the store near where I work and walking the isles when its cold outside. When its warm...I walk as much as 3miles on…

this is my problem. IF I could just have one drink I'd be ok...but I drink rarely and when I do the crap hits the fan in the food dept. Once I've got a drink or two in me I have ZERO control in the food dept.

Go online and look at the menu's. I've been able to find reasonable choices at tall three that I really enjoy. Safe bets are always a grilled chicken, fish, or even a lean piece of steak. Pair it with non-starch veggie sides and maybe a salad. If you go with a salad get the dressing on the side and fork dip the dressing.

Your body is already at a healthy weight for your height.

left overs from last nights dinner. Two baked chicken tenders and a cup of roasted broccoli and a grads jr. I know...I could choose better than a grands jr but I didnt have any other starches just so I could fit in the indulgence.

I'm doing this on a much smaller scale actually since I'm pretty much at goal. I have my settings set to sedentary and at maintenance and don't eat back the adjustment that my fitbit makes. Therefore any activty I do above a sedentary level IS my deficit which is not that big...maybe 100-250 calories a day. I don't care…
