I generally gain 3-5lbs the week BEFORE I start my period...it's usually gone the first or second day of my period...I assume it's water weight. Also, I always gain a few lbs before I start losing anytime I start a new exercise routine.

Doesn't matter if you like them or not. I don't like them...I eat tons of them every day anyway. Because I dislike being fat MORE than I dislike vegetables. It's that simple.

I eat whatever I want every Saturday...anything I crave throughout the week has to wait. If I still want it Saturday (which I usually don't) then I eat it.

I had the same problem for about a month when I hit 30lbs lost. What worked for me was completely changing my workout routine and eating MORE calories. I'm a total junkie for unsweetened caffeine free iced tea, I brew 4 large bags with 2 small bags of a flavored calorie free tea (my favorite is celestial seasonings cinnamon apple) . Then, my rule for myself is that I have to drink 3 24oz bottles of water and after that I can drink tea the rest of the day. :)

Started doing Zumba 3 or 4 times a week on the Xbox Kinect in January. I have lost 31lbs, but I don't entirely credit the Zumba...I have COMPLETELY changed my eating habits too...they have worked hand in hand ;) Unlike so many workouts I've tried in the past though, I never get tired of doing the Zumba :) It's FUN!

As a one time deal (because generally speaking 5lbs in 1 week is unhealty) you could easily lose 5lbs in one week by carefully tracking and cutting your sodium. Keep it below 1000grams per day and you should be able to flush any water weight your carrying. Often that will amount to close to 5lbs on its own ;)

I keep my settings at sedentary to give me a buffer for daily chores/straightening. Weekly, I do a thorough cleaning of the house top to bottom and because I am set at sedentary I DO count that but only at about half. Last Friday I cleaned for a solid 6 and a half hours. Thanks for the info! I have been referring to the zumbacalories site and so far have found that "aerobics, general" is usually a pretty close match. So, I have been using it...just kind of bugs me that it isn't on there, lol. My OCD coming out, I guess.
