'Tusk' Fleetwood Mac [ http://youtu.be/cma0uziW8DE ] pretty good for getting my run on. Actually the whole album is good to workout to.

Garth Brooks is the *kitten*.

If you're going to buy salmon, buy wild salmon, less omega 6 more omega 3. Shop around, you can get wild catch for a good price, you just gotta look. You won't get mercury poisoning. :)

You've worked hard, my friend! Congrats on your success!

This is amazing. You should post a thread topic under 'Success Stories' because that is a success story if I ever heard one.

I did until I tore my plantar fascia last summer. Now I do not take it for granted. Anytime I want to crap out, I just remind myself of the 12+ weeks when I couldn't even do a jumping jack.

Bragg Apple Cider vinegar FTW

I have no idea either, ha. I think he said it because it rhymed.

Walking! Walking is great, make an upbeat playlist and go for it. It's also a great way to clear your mind after a busy day. Agreed that you should check with your doctor before beginning any exercise program. Also, keep a consistent food diary and a consistent calorie deficit - that combined with walking will help you…

I take it 2x a week and started last Fall! I love it! Really good for beginners like me. I've been increasing my weights the last couple weeks and seeing more results, especially in my arms.

You and I are the EXACT same size :) How tall are you?

I totally overestimate with oils, simply because I see the amount of olive oil I use during the day adding up. So if there's olive oil in the recipe basically I just put 1 tsp of olive oil in my diary, even if it's likely I've consumed much less. Btw, I never knew this, but extra virgin olive oil isn't good for very high…

Keep a food diary (you're on MFP, so that's a start). I wish I had started much earlier. It's helpful simply to see and correct your eating patterns. Make it public and be honest. Don't do a low carb diet, it's completely unhelpful and may worse your desire to binge. Identify your triggers (boredom, stress, etc.) and try…

I go to several DFW 24 HR locations 4-5x a week, all in Dallas though. I would recommend you take classes, and I know several instructors personally who teach in Funky Town :). Message me if interested!

Dubai (based on pictures my brother took) and Armenia, where my mom's family is from.

holy *kitten*, you look amazing!! you are a gorgeous girl to begin with, though :)

True story.

Unless you consider CAFO meats 'clean' eating, no, you can't eat clean at McDonalds.

Ubiquitous mindset. I work with several ladies like this, one of them had a cancer scare and she STILL comes in every morning with McDonald's iced coffees/breakfasts. It makes me sad, I think you can encourage people you love to eat better (works better than negative reinforcement), but at the office, it's not really my…

this is phenomenal! hahaha.

I deal with eating disorders too, and I've been seeing someone for the past couple years. I would recommend a therapist. But just so you know, I understand exactly what you're going through. If you ever need someone to talk to, PM me, ok?

I think you forgot to put a "don't" in your topic title. Also, we have cats to thank for 99% of the internet. Exhibit A:

Those pictures made my head hurt. :) And yes, you can eat healthy, whole foods on the cheap, you just have to plan for it. (shopping, menu planning, cooking.) My farmer's market's produce is always cheaper than the grocery store, but I have to make time for that trip to the market. If you really want to improve the quality…

Hey, good point! I don't have to buy my shoes there! thanks!!!

Women should always eat less than men. We should also get paid less for doing the same job. And we shouldn't speak unless spoken to.

Both Target and Old Navy have perfectly acceptable compression leggings for under $35. I use both of the below leggings and love them. I would buy your normal size, their cuts are average. I had a guy almost take me out once with a barbell, haha! Yeah, I try to be courteous to other people when I'm in there (make sure my earphones aren't loud, etc.) since I pretty much figure most are there to relax and unwind. I think you'll enjoy making it part of your workout routine. It's a nice reward for your hard work…
