This is really hard for me, because I ate destructively as a kid and teenager and no one really sat me down and said "you have to stop this *kitten*". My mother was great and always cooked us whole, healthy foods, but I still had terrible eating habits. Not sure if it was the hormones or what. I'm not sure what I would do…

Most personal trainers will start initial training by taking caliper measurements, which I think would be a decent starting place for BF %. In terms of price, you're probably paying around the same as if you went to a bodpod. I had a BIA scale and the only thing consistent about it was how erratic the readings were. As for…

Picking up where you left off is the best advice (as most people are saying) but I can certainly identify with wanting to have a bigger calorie deficit the day after a bad day. :) I go into full on panic mode, where it's all I can think about. But that's just my neurosis kicking in - I really don't think fasting the next…

MFP actually has decent pressed juice data already. I usually search for whichever fruit/veggie juice is likely have the most sugar and go from there. Last juice I did was apple, beet root, ginger, carrot and celery and I was able to find a "Apple, beet and carrot" pressed juice listing.

I've been reading about it too, but I don't believe that it would help you lose more weight. I'm mostly interested in it because I feel it would help avoid bloating and some digestive issues I've experienced. Honestly though, I think as long as you're eating mostly whole foods and staying within your deficit, you'll be…

I've become the bomb at planks, I need to up the ante and do some up/down planks more. I hate those.

I really love Nike's program (also love my instructor) - I've been doing it for about 4 months or so (combined with weight training) and I totally feel stronger, balance is better, etc. Love me some burpees!!!

Make ahead! Hard boil a bunch of eggs, make big pots of your grains and staple veggies for the week to mix with fresh veg. Pre cut/bag snack items (trail mix, carrots, etc.) I try to cook a couple hours on a Sunday and it saves me loads of time during the week. Plus I eat better and save money. Friday it all goes to…

I'm going with neither. Also, I feel depressed just thinking about eating 1000 extra calories of anything. I have problems.
