Nuhnie that is amazing! I am glad to hear you're seeing progress and not giving up! It is sad you had to stop doing hair :( that is what I want to work on preventing. I hope you continue to see progress! Thank you for sharing with me :)

Yea I will be searching for a new doctor who specializes in this problem. I'm becoming a cosmetologist so I need to do everything I can to help. I did do a lot of research and read that an upright stationary bike is good when you have back problems like mine so my husband got me one today. I used it for a few minutes it…

Thank you for your responses. my doctor sucks and just wanted to shove needles in my back but I'm not comfortable with that when I have no info on it. I will look into finding someone trained to help but also will try yoga. I already do a little bit but now I'll do more, I like it and it should help. thank you again

Thank you, that is very helpful. I have mine set to sedentary so I will change that. I know I am not burning a lot but just felt like it should be somewhat noted that I use my arms all day and any girl who blow drys their hair knows it is not fun to do it for a long time lol. Thanks again
-
I will add you!! I won't judge either! My mom had a DS about 6 years ago and now weighs less than me! I am glad to hear you work hard, that is key! I look forward to joining you on this journey!
-
Thank you for your response. I should have noted that I was just curious and not thinking long term or anything like that. I just keep seeing it and was curious if anyone tried it. The powder shake mix is great though when I am in a hurry (more like woke up late and have 5 minutes to get out the door) since you can drink…

The more friends the better! I feel more compelled to exercise when I see others post how many calories they burn!
-
Thank you! Ill look for that at the store
-
What would you say are some of the good brands?
-
Thank you for this! I never would have known to use a medium or dark, probably would have bought a light! I will look at the flavored creamers for something low cal. Also I will start with one a day, mainly first thing in the morning lol. I didn't know it could make my stomach have problems so thank you again, very helpful!
-
I will try the half and half! You are right I will have to experiment I just don't want to spend a bunch of money trying different coffees since I have no clue how to pick coffee lol. The machine I bought is really cool http://www.amazon.com/Mr-Coffee-BVMC-FM1-20-Ounce-Frappe/dp/B002FWMF8G It does everything! I read a lot…

Thought I would share. I found this recipe and it looks amazing and really low calorie. http://www.averiecooks.com/2013/06/skinny-caramel-frappuccino.html/comment-page-1#comment-157706

I do get a full night sleep but that doesn't mean I function well in the morning especially 5am. If you can then congrats. I don't function well without caffeine.
-
I can't stand coffee but I need caffeine so I have 2 dr peppers a day (one at 6am and one around noon) otherwise I get grumpy, lazy and sleepy. I gave it up twice. The first time my boss got fed up with me because of how grumpy I got so he gave me money and sent me to go get a soda! That was about a month and I still had…

Well I did the Jillian Michael killer buns and thighs early (when I decided to post this) and now the knee that makes the sound is killing me. There was no pain during but now yea pain. I am going to hope that it is just muscles building but next time I see my doctor I will ask.
-
Thank you for the advice so far! I wouldn't say there is any pain but it can be uncomfortable from time to time. My family has bad knees so I would like to strengthen mine to prevent any need of surgery. I would say its a crack sound, not like cracking your knuckles or anything. It isn't just once it will happen almost…

Sounds like a hard year but I bet you can move forward and back to being healthier! It always seems to me that losing 10 pounds is harder than losing 30 lol! I am working on losing 10-15 also and would love to add you!
-
Hey! I feel your pain lol gained about 5 pounds! Looking to kick start my routine (holidays messed it all up) and get back to working hard! I would love to add you!
-
Hey! I like this topic lol! I am 23 and honestly I did some reading awhile ago about this. I have read that bumping up your calorie intake is actually a good thing to a certain extent, not 2000 calories lol. If you eat to little, sometimes 1300 can be to little depending on how much you burn a day, you can actually cause…

Hey there! I am 23 and at 160. I went down hill after I stopped working and have been trying to get back into the 140's. Now I never did the whole 3-2-1 plan for slimfast but I do like the powder shakes for breakfast because it is easy on the stomach that early, helps avoid going for the sugary cereal my husband likes and…

I agree with emhunter! Add a photo and think of it like a healthy facebook!! Instead of seeing stupid nonsense that people feel the need to post all day it is full of motivation, success, advice and acceptance!!!
-
Hey there! I know what you mean I haven't had any success at all over the many times trying to use this. My problem was starting BC 5 years ago. I auto gained 10 pounds and have gone up another 10 no matter what I try but now I need to kick it up so I can lose it and the only thing my doc said would help is to work twice…

I would stay away from boxed meals. Not only are you paying for convinence but frozen meals really? Yuck! I say find a way to make your own meals. If time is an issue I say slow cooker! There is a website I look at for ideas called crockin girls, should google it. You could pre make a lunch the night before for yourself…

Love it!! I love hearing from others who are into doing this too!!! I don't understand how some people can say they don't like to cook. I know someone who even buys the jar of precut garlic for about $5-$6 when they are supposed to be on a budget. I enjoy cooking from scratch! I really want to try pickles, are they hard to…

In a way I agree with what you are saying. If I really had a bad weight problem like my brother or other people I know I would cut soda out but I dont. I am 5'5" and 150 medium frame. I am not overweight I am just not happy with where I am. I once cut soda out of my diet for about 3 - 4 months and nothing changed ( except…

Oh wow! There are a lot of good answers here! It is starting to make much more sense now! Im going to double check my settings! I agree with a lot you who said you use MFP for food and fitbit for exercise. I do the same thing and I think MFP is easier and better for the food diary! Thank you all!
-
Yea it does help a bit. Maybe I need to double check the settings because right now fitbit says I ate to much and I need to burn 180 calories while MFP says I have 200 calories left to eat....
-
Guess there are not many people on here who also use fitbit :( I might just stop using the fitbit since one says something dif than the other
-
Yea the crystal light is good and helpful! But they are not that good for you. The fake sugar is actually bad for you according to a couple doctors I have talked to so I try to keep it at a minimum. I avoid diet sodas, yes it has no calories but it will actually make you hungry. The sweetener in it actually makes your body…

I drink a lot of water mostly. If I am going out to do some shopping I might take some fruit punch (pre mixed with no sugar) in hopes to not stop and get a soda. But like I said I do have 1 dr pepper a day (unless I dont feel I need it) now to keep up my energy. I get really worn down from everything and it really helps…
