I like to add sunflower seeds or nuts to mine.

I went to my appt yesterday with the dietician and feel better now. I decided that I didn't want to take my blood sugar 5 times a day so I am going to talk to my doctor about doing the glucose test again. In the meantime, I am watching my diet and cutting the carbs. Thanks to all for the support!

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting on this. I am 15 weeks pregnant and I have to go in today to meet with a dietician because my glucose test was high. Has anyone else done the Sweet Success program? Not sure what to expect from it. Also, not sure why but I have been losing weight lately. I haven't been trying,…

Enjoy the food, as long as its not a regular thing! I always get a hot dog when I go to a baseball game. Its tradition! Just drink lots of water and maybe avoid some of the other things but I found if I deprive myself of something I end up eating something 2x as bad later.

I am also stuck at 180 for the last 2-3 months. I recently changed my goal to lose 1/2 pound per week and I am eating back most of my exercise calories. I am hoping this will make a difference. Good luck and feel free to friend me for extra support!

I'm really glad I found this group! My husband and I are trying to conceive our second child. I am doing my best to loose as much as possible. I am 5 pounds away from my pre pregnancy weight from my daughter (she is almost 5 years now)! I am really hoping to get pregnant in the next couple of months.

That sounds so yummy! Thanks!

Welcome! Feel free to add me if you want.

I have the same problem but when I try to take it all away, that's when I want it more. So I let myself have something everyday, but I budget it into my calories and I exercise. I never take out a box of cookies, I only give myself one or two and then drink lots of water. Sometimes chewing gum helps me too when I really…

I was just thinking about this too after eating a banana and it had 19g of sugar which put me over.

I'm doing L1D3 tonight. Man my legs are sore though! Yesterday was hard to get through but I felt so good after. I have the zumba for Wii that I love. I do that too!

Take your measurements. My first few weeks here the scale didn't move but I lost 3 inches.

Starting tonight, can't wait! CW 180 GW 150 Waist: 34.5 neck: 13 hips: 41 Haven't measured my arms and legs in awhile so I don't have those. Will take measurements tonight though!

Sounds great! I've already completed the shred once, but have gotten kind of lazy in my workouts. I just started doing the C25K since the weather is getting better but I need the strength training and the abs. 5 days seems like a good goal!

My 4 year old daughter loves shrimp cabobs!

Its not easy to log everything, especially when you know your going to be way over your calories, but no one on here will judge you. We all have days, even weeks like that. Congratulations on being able to recognize these things. Having self discipline is a hard thing to learn but just stick with this and it will get…

I really like the fat free french vanilla creamer. Once I started using it, I found that I didn't need to add sugar anymore. It really isn't that bad for you, around 24 calories/tbsp.

I'm in! First challenge so not sure how to do it!

Most likely you already had issues with your gallbladder but didn't know it. I had mine removed 2 years ago after being in pain for 6 months. High fatty foods definitely contribute to it. Good luck, you'll feel better soon!

I totally understand about having a sweet tooth! I was really bad around Halloween and I'm still trying to avoid candy that is sitting at home. What I do is allow myself 1 or 2 small treats a day. I know if I try to deprive myself I will fail so I have to allow myself to eat them but in way smaller amounts. I also chew gum…

I am exactly like this. Especially this week I can't seem to eat under my calorie goal and I don't feel like I've eaten anything. Very frustrating!
-
You posted this at just the right time! I really needed this, I am an emotional eater and never ask myself these questions. Thanks for posting!

Glad I'm not the only one...mine is 4!

Welcome! Congratulations on your weight loss! Feel free to add me as a friend if you want! Kerri

Hang in there! You don't have to buy super expensive food. I stopped buying processed foods and bought more ground turkey to make meals. I really didn't change too much with what I bought except I think I am saving money by not buying the cookies and junk! Just eat sensibly and watch portion sizes! You can do this! kerri

I remember awhile ago watching some talk show with Bob from Biggest Loser and he said don't wait for Monday to start, or the 1st of the month, just start. That was always hard for me. I would always tell myself on Monday I would start working out and eating better. After I heard that it made me think, what was I waiting…
