I am small - well at least vertically - I am 4'11" and I am fairly sedimentary as I have a handicap that greatly limits many activities (at least at this weight)

yup, I hate it too. I have been many different weights and I know that when I exercise, I go down but I don't like to do it. I have tried different things ( walking, cycling, step classes, Curves, free weights/ treadmill skating and aerobics tapes) and I can honestly say that I have never found any thing that I enjoy…

I know the feeling. I have 77 more to loose and somehow it seems like it will just be impossible (and it may, my goal may be too low for my age but I will make that evaluation when I am closer) I have lost 3 pounds which is a great start but that is it - just a start. I need to stick with it

I have a serious foot drop - to the extent that I can not walk outside without a cane. I tried it and seriously sprained my ankle (It still hurts and is a bit swollen 2 months later) I did invest in an exercise bike and that is what I am using for exercise now.

am I am 4'11" and as of today I am 188. I do not remember my weekly loss goal I try to eat as mindfully as possible ( many fruits and veggies and only whole grains) and I am usually satisfied so the 1200 seem to fit. As to exercise I use a stationary bike 5 days a week.

1200 calories is what MFP suggested after I filled out the initial questions - and I have to say that over all I am satisfied with it
