I agree, but like I said, it doesn't bother me at all. I know what my goals are and I will do what I can to get healthy not skinny! ;)

Thanks for the reply :) It has taken me over a year to lose this 36 lbs and it was not all with the TDEE method. I was at 1500 at first for a LONG time, then 1300 (too low) and then the 1700 but only for like 2 mnths. I guess I just always thought the more you have to lose, the less you shld eat.

So starving to you is me going by the mfp method of 1470 calories compared to the tdee-20% of 1700?

Thanks for the info but AGAIN, I have used the tdee-20% method and just felt it was too much food for me with the amount of weight I need to lose.

Scooby is what I was using that gave me a little over 1700..Thanks for your replies and for helping me understand more of what sedentary means.

What I am scared of is feeling hungry all the time and then not having the energy to workout.

& my tdee-20% is 1759 or so and that is no where near mfp suggestions of 1470 or 1320

Since I have a desk job, I would be sedentary also correct? and I would also eat back exercise calories in this case..Correct?

Tried Tdee-20% and it put me at like 1700 a day which for me was a lot to lose the amount of weight I still need to lose

When you say you reset it, what do you mean? You went to the 0.5 lbs a week instead of 1 lb?

Thanks! That is what I have always thought. Everything in moderation, exerise and be under your calorie goal and macros and you shld be ok.

Agreed. I am 4' 10 1/2 and was at 1700 but I think that is too much with me still having like 40 plus lbs to lose.

4'10 here so I may be the shortest on this thread..lol Starting weight on MFP 1 year ago was 227.5 & I am not at 192.5 with 35 lbs lost in a year. I will be using ALL I learned last year to make this year even more successful! Feel free to add me ladies :)
