Thanks for all the replies..This is pertaining to weight loss so as others have said previously..The question is in the right place. I am not needing it as a birth control method..It is to slow down that TOM because it is soooo bad that it has caused severe anemia. The copper one will not work as it does not have hormones…

I too am about 5-6 wks in with just calorie counting and walking. I joined the gym a wk and a half ago and now try to go 4 times a wk and down 10 lbs even. I am sure I have lost inches as well, just not sure how many. I can tell because of how my clothes fit and my face is slimming down! CONGRATS on your success so far and…

I have 36 or 37 tattoos and have lost count but I think they are beautiful and to each it's own! I surely don't think you have to be thin for your tattoos to look better on you! LOL @ that for real!!

The other options they gave me is the Novasure (endometrial ablation)...or a Hysterectomy..BOTH I am afraid of because I don't want to be put asleep :( Terrified of that!!!

Loving what I am reading so far..Another post on here about Mirena has me terrified as well as online reviews..I am using it to thin the lining of the uterus..Not for pregnancy because I can't get pregnant.
