I'm only 4'10...currently 197 lbs...my lowest on this journey was 193.5 and trying to get back there and SOON!! My goal weight is 160 and my Ultimate goal weight is 150. I started MFP 9/25/12 at 227.5 lbs! So I have lost like 34 all together.

I too was eating 1300 calories and upped my calories to 1779 which is TDEE-20% just to give it a try because I started loosing at 1300 then stalled..I have already lost 4 lbs in July since starting to eat more. Thanks. My arms are already kinda big so I was hesitant on starting weights but I don't want to be flabby as I am loosing so I started strength on my arms and I am assuming this means what I am doing is working?

Great replies!! It seems to be working well for you all...I have been trying to get to atleast my BMR 1622 but that is still hard..Since Sun-I have just been feeling so stuffed and it's like I know I am supp to be eating more to help my body but it seems wrong to feel this full!

I just started it on Sun so I am terrified because I am going from 1300-1622/1700 a day but we shall see. I will NEVER eat below my BMR again because I read all the damage it does when you eat below it!

I was at 1300 cal and just started the tdee-20% and eating above my BMR yest..Scared of the gain I may get etc at first but I want to do what is right for my body in the long run..Soooo here I go!! :)
