Glad you had fun!

This info that you have shared is in agreement with what I have gathered in the last 8 months. It has served me well. Thanks for consolidating it here.

The broccoli was cooked in the skillet with the sea bass and the garlic and capers and cream and coconut oil so it was stunningly good.

It's been a pleasure to watch your journey buddy.

I had it done at UT fit center. Cost for the public is 90$.

I love open diaries.

I used to do pickles but the sodium is horrible for water retention. Oatmeal with some blueberries and truvia is great. I use unsweetened almond milk to make it instead of water. 2 minutes in the microwave is about right. Your microwave may vary.

If I have that urge I eat protein. If I eat a little sugar, it makes me want to just keep eating it. I obsess on it. Sweets don't satisfy my sweet tooth. Oatmeal with blueberries help but nothing works better than protein and fat for satisfying my hunger. I don't dare eat something sweet unless I'm already full of…

I'm sorry about the rude drivers. I ignore them and riding on the road is either going to help me live past 90 or get me killed. I live in rural Texas so the rednecks in pickups like to rev their engines as they roar by kind of close. I ignore it. The fact that they have to live with themselves is my only satisfaction.…

Oh yeah, I work out with Scooby at home. Scoobysworkshop.com

I think oatmeal and blueberries are magic food. My recipe is 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, one Tbs ground flax seed meal. Cover and microwave for 2 minutes 20 seconds. ymmv. Then I add 1/2 scoop whey protein powder, 1 tsp truvia, cinnamon and 1/2 cup of blueberries. I have the oatmeal at 4:30 or 5:00…

Wow. I just came home from work and was overwhelmed by the response. Thank you so much. I am humbled. If there is anything I can offer beyond my open diary, let me know.

Thanks Y'all. Thanks a lot Sarah. I knew there was a way. I left out the img tags when I tried it. The before pic is from the weekend that I decided enough was enough. The after picture was 8 1/2 months and 59 pounds later. The people here have been so inspirational and supportive. I'm not used to this body yet. I still…

Oh yeah, thanks much for these ideas.

Because you are really after fat loss and not muscle loss. Working out and consuming protein regularly will help avoid muscle loss. After you lose the weight, you will be looking to add muscle. It's best to not have to first replace muscle that you lost through sedentary dieting. Think long term and you won't kick yourself…

I use scoobysworkshop.com. He will show you how to do weight training at home safely. I have been working with his program for 4 months and have seen very positive results but have not had any injuries. I would not recommend doing dead lifts or squats until you learn a safe way of doing them. Injuries will stop your…

The day I added sodium to my list of controlled substances was a day filled with feelings of powerlessness. There is one mesquite seasoning I use that is loaded with salt and is delicious on meats and salads. It was hard to give up. Baked goods are toughies. My wife has little interest in limiting her salt intake. We have…

I liked the video. It rings of truth. I followed the science and it agrees with my admittedly limited knowledge of the subject. I will now make an adjustment to my dietary intake goals here on MFP.

check out my diary for ways to increase your fiber intake.

Look over my diary for ideas. I've been doing this for awhile now. I'm on maintenance so the calorie level is much higher than when I was in serious weightloss mode but the foods are mostly the same. I aim for clean and balanced. High fiber and highish protein. I sometimes have a treat at the end of the day if my calories…

I'll be checking this out later.

All your pictures look great. How do you feel? I'm glad to hear you will continue to eat good food. I enjoyed reading your diary when it was open. I hope you feel comfortable doing that again. I think it is one of our best tools. Thanks for all the support you have given me these past many months.

My favorite food for health is Oatmeal. Over and over I see a reference to instant or rolled oats as if you had to choose. You don't. I buy Bob's Red Mill Rolled Oats. Any oats will do. I mix 1/2 cup dry oats with 1 cup skim milk and microwave for 2 minutes and 5 seconds. Cover it while it cooks. You will need to adjust to…

I've lost a small bale of hay and it feels like it.

Mine is open. I almost always eat healthy, clean and fresh. I'm on maintenance now so the caloric intake at 2400 may not relate to yours but you can look back a few months to when I was eating 1400 or so calories a day while I was losing 2 lbs a week. I started adding calories back in just before xmas as I was approaching…

You might want to try a bowl of oatmeal to satisfy those cravings. It's nature's perfect food.

I eat all of those every day. The spinach is out of the garden. I just log it as romaine now matter what kind of lettuce or spinach I use in my salad. I don't use iceberg. Keeps it simple.

Every morning I mix 1/2 cup dry organic rolled oats with 1 cup of skim milk and microwave for 2 minutes. I then add 1/2 scoop of whey protein powder and 1/2 cup of blueberries or similar fruit. I teaspoon of truvia on top and I have a delicious bfast. It comes out to 5.4 gr fat, 56 gr of carbs of which 45 is from whole…

I hid some soy free vege based protein powder in my butternut squash soup. I was fine with it. Wife was not. I put it in my bowl, not in her soup.
