I thought I had already posted in this topic :x Well, I'm doing 1200 cals per day too. And the first time I said that on the main chat I got a "you are starving woman!", in spite of me saying that I almost don't eat any processed food and prefer lean proteins and veggies. So I'm glad you created this group, hope we can…

It has also been shown that it can decrease the risk of Alzheimer's disease. The fat burning thing is probably related with caffeine, as in green tea.

Black espresso ristretto, preferentially from a mixture with a high level of arabica beans. I'm a coffee snob :/
-
Espresso shots all day long, always black. I need to have caffeine in my blood stream to function properly.

Chromium supplements are sold as weight lost products, specially because they decrease sugar cravings, since it is thought to stabilize blood sugar levels. There have been studies trying to link chromium intake and weight loss but I think there aren't any definitive conclusions (at least the last time I checked)

I don't mean to be rude but can I ask you what your BMI is? Have you tried diet and exercise already?

Mederma is one of the best things to treat stretch marks (and scars) but you will only see results after at least 4 weeks. You can also use creams with vit E but the results aren't as good.

My masters thesis earned me a couple of pounds but I think it would have been worse if I haven't kept my place cookie and candy free. I always tried to eat mostly fruit and low fat yogurt or cheese, and drink an enormous amount of tea...

Even an amount as small as a glass of juice can mess with the blood levels of some drugs. The same goes for St. John's wort which tea is used around here and also interacts with a very large amount of drugs. It must be said that it's your pharmacist (and doctor) duty to always inform you of drug interactions and side…

Grapefruit juice yes. Orange and pineapple are safe XD

5'1'' here ;p

Grapefruit is known to interact with a great amount of medications, increasing their blood levels. Not only birth control but also statins or benzodiazepines for example. In the other hand, there is a lot of drugs that interact with oral contraceptives. That's why you should always ask your doctor or pharmacist :p

When I have a cheat meal (usually the sunday lunch) I try to balance it with my other meals in order to stay within my daily calories intake, give or take a couple 100 calories. However, every month I plan a get together dinner with some friends and i just pig out. :/ Last one involved unhealthy amounts of shellfish,…

I'm not sure this is the answer you are looking for, but chromium supplements have been shown to reduce sugar cravings...

I eat the calories I burn WHEN i work out, even if it's only a yoga class. Currently I just finished my degree and I spend most of my day sending CVs, so on a daily basis honestly i don't burn much more than the calories i would burn if i was in bed all day. Most of the days I have been forcing myself to eat 1100 or 1200…

What you are describing is roughly a mediterranean diet, with i've been following for all my life. My proteins come from lean meat and fresh grilled fish, which i eat usually once a day. I don't eat much carbs, and when i do it is usually whole grain pasta and bread. I don't sky away from vegetables, specially green leaf…
