So I am 3 out of 13 for this month. @SuzJok85 your post really hit home. Not to go into all the details but last night I drank, but the the outcome has been amazing and something clicked in my brain. I realized that alcohol needs me, and I don't need it. That is the reason we hear it cry and try to get us to drink it. I…

Another night in the bag, I walked 60 minutes, baked chicken and broccoli and my fizzy water. I had my tea and a reward. My reward......2 ginger snaps with my tea, that is a real treat since I am on low carb plan. I am at 9 days no alcohol out of 11. I am very proud of that and getting easier to control. My tough time…

Had a stressful day that ended on a good note after a successful meeting with a client. I even got home earlier since I did not go back to the office. I had an hour drive and the entire time I thought about what I normally would do when I get home. It would not be working out it would be winding down with a few vodka on…

I also have to deal with my hubby and he drinks every night, I struggle sometimes communicating with him when I am sober and I hope one day he will join in cutting back, I am not asking him to quit, just limit so we can carry on a conversation without all the drama and emotion. I right there with you chickey.

Julie you hit a big point with me, I wake up not disappointed. I contemplated drinking 1 or 2 tonight and realized that the feeling I feel when I wake up is truly amazing. Great job!

I have a fitbit and when I drink and don't work out my HR is resting is pushing 75, not drinking (2 out of 8 only in January so far) I am already down to 68. Add exercise and few more weeks I will seen it get to 58. (I have done it before)

Here to a great week! Diet cranberry-grape juice with fizzy water

Never tried this since I do Keto but Mediterranean Diet is suppose to be good.

Great job, I want to work back up to running and quitting drinking is really going to help. I hope by the spring thaw in Ohio I can have enough walking miles on the treadmill to venture outside for running. I am just starting back to daily exercise so I have a long way to go.

Last night was a learning experience, many factors and emotions, broke down my wall of not drinking. But I am happy and now relieved. I drank (3) then something clicked in my brain and I stopped, switched to fizzy water and diet cranberry juice. yes the damage was done, over calories, potential hangover(I don't have one…

Here is to Day 4, I feel great and so proud. I made it past the 8:00 pm mark, worked out and that routine seems to do the trick. Friday will be the minute by minute but I am going to really try.

Wow is it the weather or because it is day 3 and I was thinking about my V on the rocks at 3:00pm today at work, thinking I normally would come home and prep dinner while having my drink to decompress. Instead I came home worked out, fixed dinner and it is now past my witching hours of 5-8. Going for a tea and curl up and…

So day 2 and I feel pretty good. I came home worked out and killing time till dinner is ready, This is the waiting game till dinner. Normally if I can make it to 8:00 pm I am good, dinner, tea and then bed. My concern is Friday night, hubby already bought V for the weekend. Uggg I am going to take 1 day at a time. I hate…

I am in also, I am planning for a dry January, today was successful but I had to keep myself busy tonight (5-8pm is my weakest link). Plus I find a nice Detox tea called Pukka is really good before going to bed. Day 1 down plus I am under my calories so maybe I will start losing weight again.

Feel free to add me, we can start out the new year together!

That is wonderful to hear, I am wanting to lose 30 pound by my 50th Birthday in September. I have been a treadmill person and needed something with a little more motivation and coaching. I am not a bike rider, I have ridden occasionally with my bike in summer so I am taking the plunge with out ever have taking a spinning…

I am 46 and trying to get back my 30's, no kids, work and love hanging out with my hubby of almost 18 years. Feel free to add me, I have about 15 pounds to go and want to do a 1/2 marathon in 2014.

Please don't give up. I am as frustrated as you. I was hanging all summer around 145-148, I jumped up to 150's, I freaked, the harder I try the more I gain. So I got a fitbit to see if I am eating to much or to little. I am reevaluating my habits and food choices in hopes to see the scale go down. I have been exercising…

Feel free to add me, I just completed my first 9 mile run this weekend, 1:28 (under my goal of 90 min), now I am thinking of doing a Half Marathon Oct 13, but I have to get rid of the soreness from this last race. I try and run/walk everyday, I like to eat so I have to workout. I eat healthy and need to also lose my last…

I am with UKMarjie....I want to do a half marathon and I am doing good at a 10K now but have work to get to half. I also want a firm belly and I know what I need to do.
