I do agree that sugars and starches can be a problem for some people like me but I'd rather follow the GAPS diet which is really helping me with candida issues I've had for 9 years.

I eat navy beans, celery, carrots, onions, spinach, and kale for my fiber. I usually boil them with chicken or beef in a crockpot with some butter and it all tastes good.

I lowered my blood pressure eating navy beans since they are one of the highest in potassium. They also taste great cooked in a crockpot with carrots, onions, celery, and butter.

I don't have a goal set but my main carbs are carrots and navy beans and I don't eat that many. I'm on the full GAPS diet and have never been on a ketogenic diet.

It's not enough arsenic to poison you outright or they'd take it off the shelf. It's probably in ppm(parts per million) but it can accumulate in the body and cause problems. Only about 1% of magnesium is in the blood so blood tests are not a good indication of total magnesium in the body.

I'd have to go with niacin(nicotinic acid) and pantethine(active b5). Niacin can cause flushing if you take too large a dose right off the bat and should be taken with food.

I've been taking doctor's best for a while now. I also had some that weren't rated so well that I'm trying to finish up. I also use magnesium oil on the skin since I've read that you absorb it better that way.

I try to eat less GMOs and more organic or just non-GMO.

I thought it was the ratio of selenium to iodine that was important. I get my selenium from brazil nuts and iodine from seaweed.

Thanks for bumping. I'm trying to stick to the diet but I don't think I could handle the intro stage and steps. I'm hoping just the full diet and probiotics will help me clear up candida and strengthen my gut.
