There are some people that can't believe that a vitamin will do that and it's a shame. You might want to check out Doctor Yourself by Dr. Andrew Saul. It's a very good book.
-
Not necessarily. There's a big difference between a slight deficiency and getting a disease from a deficiency. People can go decades (the lucky ones) lacking enough vitamins before disease starts. Most people procreate young and don't start getting health problems until they are middle age or older.
-
That would be a fair amount of them unless you are eating fortified foods which is like taking vitamins in the first place.
-
Your dentist/periodontist is smart. I doubt most U.S. dentists would recommend vitamins.
-
The dose should be the same based on your weight unless you are sick and or stressed then certain vitamin requirements go up.
-
RDAs are how much they estimate you need of a vitamin not how much you can get from food. Most vitamin experts say they are actually too low.
-
You are missing magnesium which helps transport calcium to the proper parts of the body. Or else you may end up with bone spurs or calcified organs.
-
I would disagree. I'm not sure what country you are from but people eating the standard American diet would fail to get enough most days. Also some health gurus like Dr. Saul would and do argue that the rda is pretty low for vitamin C.
-
That would make too much sense. It's a vitamin you should be getting it every day.
-
Vitamin C is very important and most people don't get enough. The book Doctor Yourself uses high doses of vitamin C to help treat several diseases and he has thousands of references that show it works.
-
No matter how good your diet is, you can't get the full rdas of all the vitamins in a single day unless you go way over on calories on standard grocery store food. Actually I doubt you could stomach that much food. So that means that you have to supplement the rest.

What are the vitamins that blood work shows? D and B12? any others? It won't show if you are lacking vitamin C or niacin, thiamin, riboflavin, E, K etc.
-
Don't forget buckwheat and amaranth. I mix all three and it's really good.
-
Don't eat too much seaweed, it is extremely high in iodine. I eat a couple pieces of dried kelp or wakame a week.
-
Not true at all and that's horrible advice. Sometimes the first sign of deficiency is disease. You don't eat that well yourself and may be lacking key nutrients.
-
I'm not a big fan of McDonald's, I'd rather go to Burger King or Culver's. I love whoppers and butter burgers.
-
You sound pretty biased. This site is based on non-biased lab results. I'm sure any of the top rated vitamins would be better than what you recommend. I'd recommend Alive or Rainbow Light although I'm currently taking Optimum Nutrition Opti-Men. Also it has been shown that practically no one gets all 100% of their daily…

Total fruit averages to lower your risk of diabetes, so if you eat a variety of fruits and not just cantaloupe and strawberries you'll be fine.
-
Whoops they made a big error. So just avoid fruit juices and eat whole fruit.

What studies say fruit sugars in cantaloupe and strawberries are weakly associated with increased risk of diabetes?
-
I eat sometimes 700 calories in bananas a day. I've done this for several years now and haven't gotten diabetes. I don't think it's the amount of fruit sugars that cause diabetes.

Cayenne is supposed to help circulation and digestion.

Produce needs to judged by its quality and taste. Organic watermelon beats conventional for me and I've bought a lot of watermelon. But for bananas and strawberries it doesn't seem to make much difference so I buy mostly conventional.

Riboflavin, vitamin B2 is gives the yellow color to your urine after taking a multivitamin. Most foods have riboflavin so you probably won't need that one as much as others. Your test is illogical for testing that you use all the different nutrients in a multivitamin.

Lifting heavy doesn't mean you're intelligent and if you don't know much about vitamins you shouldn't be posting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0u8UdZeOhc This video gives some idea as to why you should take a multivitamin and was posted by Layne Norton. https://www.facebook.com/LayneNorton/posts/10103373756925890

They have 3 to 1 the ratio of omega 3s to 6s. They are high in calcium. Also they are said to be androgenic vs estrogenic for flax seeds which is better for men. They have an amino acid score of 115 which is pretty high. But they don't have any vitamins according to the nutrition data. nutrition data for chia seeds I like…

I just ate a pound of grass fed hamburger and it only fulfills about half my iron requirements for the day. I was told not to eat red meat all the time because of the build up of excess iron causes heart disease. Lies I tell you.
