It's not magnesium oxide, it's magnesium glycinate and lysinate. Mineral drops also can make me go too since they are mostly magnesium.

Vitamin D has been studied a lot but sometimes the commenters have the most facts versus doctors. I'm just taking 5,000 iu because that is about the highest or slightly more than they recommend in all the books I've read. I don't see how a crazy vitamin D number can be helpful compared to 60-80 ng/ml for mostly healthy…

I think I'll go back to 5,000 iu. I'm not really concerned with a blood test but might get one in a few months. I'd be happy anywhere from 60-100 ng/ml.
-
I haven't gained but haven't lost any either. I've been eating really healthy and started relaxed carnivore the last few days.
-
So you take 50,000 iu d3 a day and 500 mcg mk-7 k2? I took 10,000 iu d3 and 100 mcg mk-7 k2 today. I might go up to 15,000 iu a day. Don't forget vitamin E, it's the antagonist of Vitamin K and helps stop abnormal clotting. I'm taking 1600 iu of alpha tocopherol and one pill of mixed tocotrienols but I was getting chest…

I'm not going to try that high of dose, I just take 5,000 iu d3 a day and 100-200 mcg k2. I think eating well is more important than too many supplements. Most of my books are on kindle so it's easy to locate, hard to find the right spot of, the book.

The book looks good, I bought it on kindle. I've read "vitamin k2 and the calcium paradox" which is a good read and Jeff Bowles book on high dose vitamin d which really was testing the limits of high dose d3 therapy. I just take K2 MK-7 since it can be used by the body for a longer period of time than MK-4. Supplementing…

Metformin can be hard on the kidneys and damage them for some people like my dad.

I really love pacific tomato soup. It's slightly expensive at almost $5 for a quart but it's worth it. I just mix it with a little whole milk. I want to start adding green onions and garlic to my eggs.

Chest pains went away. I've changed from carnivore to a moderate carbs diet, so more fruit, nuts, seeds, and cocoa! I'm still on 2 blood pressure meds, which I found out are still necessary.

Every carnivore that pays attention knows about glucose and vitamin c fighting for absorption. You didn’t have to say no because it is because of the sugar making or increasing more glucose. There are other vitamins that get depleted like most of the b vitamins, zinc, and magnesium to name a few. I don’t think sugar in…

I was getting chest pains from amlodipine so I quit it and started eating high calcium foods like milk and cottage cheese because it’s a calcium channel blocker. I’m quitting all my other meds this next week after tapering off them. I’m supplementing electrolytes to lower the pressure and a mostly carnivore diet.

Sauerkraut, banana peppers, and jalapeños are some veggies I added back in my diet from being carnivore.

Cafe bustelo coffee is cheap and very good. Thanks for the recommendation!

I had some air fried thin cut sirloin tip steaks and they were fantastic. I will be buying again if they ever are in stock.

Sugar was terrible after antibiotics for me. The GAPS diet helped me to eat sugar again. Now I’m carnivore and have mostly only milk sugar. A high sugar diet can make the body need more vitamins and minerals.

Fiber is not needed at all.

I believe fat soluble vitamins are very important and the gut lining needs fat. Neurotransmitters and the myelin sheath that protects nerves are made from b vitamins, amino acids, and/or fatty acids. Low fat diets are terrible for the body. I used to drink veggie smoothies every day and it just caused me to get signs of…

I did some sprints and squats otherwise it was a lazy day.

I love New England clam chowder, Manhattan clam chowder can go to hell. My carnivore version would just be clams and cream, sounds good. maybe a little salt and pepper too.

Only slightly crazy...

Yes check with your doctor. For the thyroid, selenium and iodine are important from what I’ve read. The adrenals use vitamins B5 and C, among others. It’s always good to strive for the full spectrum of vitamins and minerals. I’ve found it on carnivore. Beef and eggs are almost complete foods. Lots of carbs are unnecessary.

I've been so lazy but my diet is great with carnivore. I made some half ground beef/ half pork sausage patties in the air fryer. I could eat those every day . I plan on doing more BoxVR on my pc.

I friggin love my Cosori 5.8 quart air fryer. I make bacon, steaks, shrimp, hamburgers, and ribs in it, just meat and seafood. It's so easy to clean as well.

I'm glad you got well again. A lot have not been so lucky, mostly the elderly.

Yes vitamin E thins the blood and K1 clots it. They are antagonists. I made a huge order from Aldi's yesterday and they had everything but ribeyes. I ordered strip steaks instead. I have enough toilet paper for several months especially being on carnivore. I'm taking antiviral herbs today because my throat feels funny. I…

Cayenne pepper helps circulation, sometimes I take it in pill form. I used to just have a teaspoon of it with water and some yogurt. Also vitamin E can help thin your blood. Hazelnuts have a lot. My carnivore sources are sardines and shrimp.
-
I tried GAPS and it truly helped my candida issues. Now I'm a carnivore.

If it's zinc oxide you might not be absorbing it.
