I prefer to believe in mercola except some of his fearmongering and completely ignore sciencebasedmedicine.org. I've been looking for more cruciferious veggies so thank you.

Fruits and vegetable can detox you but the funny thing is the detoxification pathway in the liver needs amino acids and fatty acids as well so if you are just doing fruits and veggies your liver isn't performing as well as it could.

Well I play guitar really badly (the neighbors love me), I'm learning Johnny B Goode by Chuck Berry which I always thought was a great tune, and I am doing low carb because I'm so fat but I'm losing weight again. :) The sense of humor is a work in progress, I'm actually reading a comedy writing book on my kindle that I…

Hello there cricketpower! Braunschweiger isn't for everyone since it's pork liver and pork fat usually, I believe, though I've seen a lot of different recipes for it. I think I remember my dad and grandfather had some and I didn't really like it as a kid either, now I love it. If people can tolerate it, any form of beef,…

I love peanut butter but I hardly have it by itself anymore. I mix it with veggies in a smoothie. It was really a game changer.

With anemia I've heard you might need high amounts of b vitamins and iron so smoked oysters and clams are really good for iron if you can afford them. Aldi's has braunschweiger for fairly cheap that has b12 and lots of iron from the pork liver in it. Like Tcunbeliever said, add some vitamin C to the meal for absorption.…

I suppose this is acceptable. I'll let you go with a warning this time.

Rice cakes as a diet food is a joke. Avocados are worth their weight in gold. Good luck with making intelligent food choices or good skill. I'm walking every day and trying to lift heavy as I can with dumbbells.

I'm not full carnivore but I'm buying more meat because of this thread. Grass fed burgers, grass fed hot dogs, and pork sirloin just to name a few. Nice infographics^. What do you all think of braunschweiger?
-
Well not just one vitamin but the full spectrum of vitamins and minerals every day. You might have to take high doses of vitamin E for a while to get back to normal.

I have a book on blues guitar and another on how to make electric guitars sound great. I'm learning how to do my own guitar maintenance.

I’ve read that varicose and spider veins are a lack of vitamin E. Not sure if it’s true but I take vitamin E every day and load up on high E foods like almonds and sunflower seeds. Although I’ve never had a problem with varicose veins.

I don’t think you need a gym for exercise, just some dumbbells and your body. Body weight squats and push-ups are great. You don’t have to exercise to lose weight but it’s a good way to get health problems like poor circulation and high blood pressure.

This thread makes me hungry.

I'm trying to go for a walk with some jogging and sprinting every day sometimes twice a day. I've been making peanut butter and cocoa veggie smoothies every day. nomnomnom

Supplements are good if you know what you need but it's best to get most of your nutrients from food. Some nutrients are hard to get from food like vitamin D, chromium, some B vitamins, and vitamin k2 unless you specifically look for the right foods. I wouldn't worry about an acidic body because you would be in the…

I would take it first thing in the morning if it affects your sleep.

I make green smoothies every day. I use cabbage, 1/2 an onion(working up to more), carrots, spinach, kale, cilantro, parsley, berries, apples, peanut butter, cocoa, and stevia. The last three ingredients really help mask some of the veggies.

grass fed beef hot dogs parmesan cheese kefir homemade chocolate yogurt avocados veggie smoothies with peanut butter, cocoa, and stevia almond butter

I'm on hydrochlorothiazide and lisinopril for blood pressure. What helps me is that I prioritize high potassium and high magnesium foods and don't have a lot of salt. I'm not keto just low carb. I'm trying to work my way off the meds.

what really helped me for gut health was raw sauerkraut, kefir, and advanced probiotics by bio-kult. I couldn't eat sugar without getting a headache a few years ago but now I can eat most of a family size bag of m&m's and not have a headache at all, not that I do that very often. I mostly eat a low carb diet now and that…

The GAPS diet is about mental health and low carb.

Pb, cocoa, and stevia with veggies and every smoothie tastes like a peanut butter cup.

Most of the food I eat are the ones that are the highest in certain nutrients. I do eat fast food very seldom. I try to cut out grains and added sugars except on trips or holidays. It is low to moderate carbs if it has a name.

bio-kult advanced probiotics, they really worked for me.

@KnitOrMiss I'm currently taking vitacost d3 and doctor's best k2. I haven't been thrilled with vitacost d3 since it says it can contain corn oil or synthetic vitamin e. I also bought more doctor's best d3 and k2 from vitacost. d3 is cheap but the 400 mcg k2 every day gets expensive.

I'd probably be like that if I owned one.

I've been eating lacinato kale by itself. It's bitter but I sort of like it. I think I like turnips because they are close to radishes which I love.
