It's in really low amounts parts per million or billion and micrograms per serving. It shouldn't hurt you in those amounts.

It was in "Forks over Knives" from the book "The China Study".

It's not fear mongering, it's the truth. Rice has arsenic in it. The truth is most if not all foods have some type of toxin even if it's in parts per million.

Worthless is a bit harsh. I have eaten and will eat rice in the future regardless of it's arsenic levels but rice is nutritionally inferior compared to amaranth, buckwheat and quinoa.

For enjoyment and nutritional value I feel it's worthless except when I eat Asian dishes. Maybe the grains I listed would be better substitutes. Have you ever tried sushi with those grains? Who knows they could taste good with sushi. Rice is used because it is cheaper and possibly stickier.

There are truths to some of the things you said. Nuts, legumes and grains should be soaked to remove phytic acid. Eating a lot of dairy say 20% of your diet was shown to likely cause cancer but 5% was fine. Soy is estrogenic, disrupts hormones and I believe it shouldn't be eaten unless fermented. There is nothing wrong…

I'm not looking at any claims made by others, only what I believe. I also was talking about your allergies. To help them you need to deal with your overall health not just trying to eat one "super" food and that's it but by making sure your nutritional needs are met. To get on topic: I believe raw sugarcane juice and raw…

The main problem with dealing with some type of illness is you have to look at all the nutrient deficiencies someone has. Are they getting enough of the full spectrum of nutrients and does their body need more than the Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA) of certain nutrients? These sites cover the main nutrients:…

It has nothing to do with the type of pollen in the honey. What helps allergies is the vitamin, mineral and enzyme content of the honey especially the B vitamin content. Most honey has added corn syrup and is pasteurized and/or heated in some other way so it's not going to help. Raw Manuka honey is one of the more nutrient…

You can eat almost all fruit and not have any problems unless you are a heavy lifter. I eat mostly fruit, veggies, nuts and seeds but I also like some grass fed beef, chicken, turkey, whole milk and eggs for heavy lifting. I've tried eating about all fruit with heavy squats and my legs didn't recover fast enough. I'd…

The majority of supplements are a waste of money. google: foods high in "nutrient" example: http://suppversity.blogspot.com/2010/08/taurine-from-foods-can-i-be-taurine.html Some of the best foods for those amino acids are: cheese, chicken, beef, pork, fish, avocado, milk, yogurt, raw vegetables, chocolate, oatmeal, and…

Stronglifts recommends low bar squats, because your max weight should be higher. I personally do high bar squats and front squats for Olympic lifting.

The best cleanse is a lot of fruits and vegetables especially greens. The main thing about eating more fruits and vegetables is eating plenty of calories.
