VR boxing and Beat Saber two days in a row for me.

I got liver pains from dried fruit, stupid NAFLD. No more fructose for me.

I drink half and half if I have any liquid calories. It has some calcium from the milk and lots of fat from cream. I believe milk fats are good for the body and help the skin keep it’s shape.

I’m down to cilantro, cabbage, and onions for veggies. Cilantro is supposed to detox heavy metals. All I know is I get a great feeling after having it. Onions and cabbage are good for balancing hormones and lowering yeasts or molds from what I’ve read but I cannot guarantee it. I love the tang onions give to smoothies.…

I guess dextrose isn’t a big deal but I support Redmond salt since it’s from the USA and is supposed to be quality stuff.

I’m a relaxed carnivore but have some days I eat several ounces of raisins and dried apricots. I’m going to do that from now on every few weeks.

I think I like strip steak maybe the same or even a little more than ribeye. That outer layer of fat sure is tasty.

Salting my coffee stops dehydration, lowers blood pressure, gives me minerals, and is supposed to stop the coffee from tasting too bitter.

I'm determined to get VR setup this December and exercise with it. Beat Saber is a blast, so is Creed Boxing.

I really don’t see a downside to a full pot of coffee a day. It gives me energy for all the stupid things I do!

I like stevia for veggie smoothies and like heavy cream, cream cheese, and even sour cream is still sweet to me and adds sweetness to bitter stuff.

peppermint hot cocoa sounds tasty. I try to avoid mint most of the time but for holidays it's difficult. Ande's mints would be good melted in hot cocoa but that's some sugar and palm oil.

I prefer to workout at home. I have dumbbells from 25 to 70 lbs. Using the free weights was nice when I had a membership to a gym. Heavy squats, overhead presses, and deadlifts are the best. I do miss lifting heavy. Congrats on joining a gym, just make sure you go several times a week and use your time wisely.

The GAPS diet says to avoid all starches and that’s all about improving gut health. Kefir is great for feeling good and is said to improve gut health.

I agree with seeing a doctor. You do need electrolytes on this diet or you can get issues. I take salt, potassium chloride, mineral drops, and magnesium pills. I eat dairy and sardines for calcium.

Thanks. I don't have those stores around here. I think I'll stick with Aldi's coffees for now. They work just fine getting all the caffeine to my bloodstream.

Are you eating fatty meats? I feel sick like I've had too much fat when I've eaten too much dairy fat or bacon fat. Marbled steaks don't bother me at all. I also eat some pasta sauces by themselves that have no added sugars. Those seem to help me when I'm feeling like I reached my fat quota. Also vitamin C and milk thistle…

What store do you get Cafe Bustelo coffee?
-
My soup is beef ribs or chuck roast and water.

You might want to join the low carb group if you haven’t already. There is beginner info on the main page. I agree with lots of salt, potassium, and magnesium. IMO checking for Ketosis is a waste of time, just try to keep as low of carbs as possible.

I've had filet mignon once I think but I'd rather put the money into more ribeyes and N.Y. strips.

I want to see Fat: A Documentary. It looks good. I can get it from the library but there might be a waiting list. I’ll check out Fed Up too. I may have seen that before. I watch a lot of Documentaries.

I accidentally cut a steak with the grain. It’s in the freezer under several good steaks. It was my first sirloin roast. I learned really quickly that was the wrong way. Marbled beef is the best whether steaks or roasts. I’m liking mostly grain fed because I don’t want to spend extra on grass fed. I do buy grass fed…

I’ll give it a watch soon. I like Fung, he goes against common beliefs that are taken for granted because they are so widespread. He makes perfect sense to me.
-
I'll watch it soon. I just watched Fat Head again and it really means a lot more now.
-
Gerson therapy originally included raw beef liver so it wasn’t all veggies.
-
Thanks, I'll have to check that out. I'm always looking for ways to make liver worth eating.

Sounds like a bad idea devoid of proper nutrition.

I know tomatoes are a fruit but I still consider them a veggie. Avocados also are weird as a fruit since they have few carbs. I have a simple recipe for tomatoes, tomato basil soup. It's just tomatoes, heavy cream, basil, and some water or a little milk if you don't want all the fat from the cream. Half and half would work…

I’m surprised how the healthy foods are usually the foods I want anyway. Steaks, eggs, fish, seafood, some veggies in butter, and bacon are all delicious. The one food that is ok, not great, that I eat anyway is beef liver because it’s so nutrient dense.
