The second round I did of CLX, I did not see the changes I did w/the first--but I did them back to back. I would recommend you see it through and ditch the scale. I found with CLX the scale was not my friend--I focused on how I felt, how I looked and how my clothes fit--as long as I was happy--I didn't care what the scale…

I use coconut milk in place of coffee creamer. Love it!
-
I like Chalene Extreme and Les Mills Pump. Good luck!

feel free to add me too! Working Mom with similar stories. About a year ago I decided to move my workouts to the AM before work. Best choice ever, I have never worked out so consistently as I have been this past year.
-
Feel free to add me as well. I log as much as possible, and do lift weights at home. Either Les Mills Pump or Chalene Extrem. Mostly Paleo--with a few beers thrown in over the course of the week. Just something I enjoy--I do get the gluten free though, so I feel less guility :-)

Sure!

Excellent! Turbo Fire is so much fun too!
-
I started last week, but had a beer this week end :-( Trying again today!

Hi! I do Les Mills Pump, which I believe is the Beachbody DVD version of the class. I do love it!

My body needs a rest day between lifting. I try to alternate lifting and cardio--sounds like that isn't the best option for you. Maybe try to do different muscle groups--that way the onces you just worked get a chance to heal? I believe in lifting the recovery is equally as important as the exercise--but I am no pro.

I am no expert, but based on my experience, I felt crappy for a few days as my body adjusted. From what I have read by others here, it largely depends on how much of it you ate before you started. Stick it out, you will feel great soon enough!

I found I used the same amount of weight throughout Lean.
-
I am thinking of Pump!! So glad to see this post--how did you do? Good results--I love the strength from CLX, and I have lost body fat, just looking for something different.
-
I do the TurboFire HIIT workouts
-
Good for you!!! Feels great, be proud!

It is a work out from her Turbo Jam set. I do it now and then in place of burn it off. For me, if I want to change up the cardio, I usually go for one of my Turbo Fire workouts.
-
In TF I love "you are not tired" from CLX, I think my favorite is "you can do it, you can do it"....she seems to say it just when it is heaviest for me. lol
-
Skip cracks me up! I don't like the guy in the Lean phase at all. Janelle has it hands down! For whatever reason she makes it all seem attainable. I may never look quite like her, but half way through the program for the second time, I can almost lift as heavy as her!
-
I can't wait to try! Thanks for sharing!
-
I do my own hybrid too. CLX 3 times a week ( I am on my 2nd round) and mostly TF HIIT workouts. So far so good!

cut it into florets, pulse in food processor till size of rice. Melt about 5 tablespoons of butter, add the cauliflower and cook till looks a bit like fried rice. Add whatever you want, bacon, onion, egg.....it is yummy!!!
-
You will have fun! I keep the TF in my routine as well. I like it better than the cardio that comes with CLX. Follow her instructions and lift as heavy as you can! You will see results. Good luck!
-
I love Turbo Fire! I use it for the cardio instead of Burn Intervals and Burn it off. I do love CLX. I am on my second round. I too am afraid I will lose what I have gained if I don't keep it up so I will always have it as part of my routine.

I do enjoy some beer on the week ends. I find that when I "cheat" badly I feel awful so it is not worth it! I am really good at home and work, but if I do go out to eat, I order fish and veggie usually and don't seat it if there is a sauce or something.
-
hate the burpees too! I like the stepping over the band one, that is fun. I usually do Turbo Fire instead though.
-
This thread made me happy! I def do not sweat the small stuff. For me, a few beers on the week end is enjoyable! I do right most of the time.....and I try to do better all the time, lol!
-
Wow!!! I am going to have to get out my HRM and see. I have just estimated low because it is mainly lifting.
-
How did you all figure out your macros? I have sort of just been eating since starting Paleo. Staying away from what I need to and eating what I should. I do notice on the days I lift very heavy I feel off, so input would be appreciated. Thanks!
-
I am not as strict as some, but always try my best. Feel free to add me.

Like anything else, do your own research and do what is best for you. Obviously some people here are very against this way of eating. For me, I have never felt better.
