You weigh/measure pasta dry.

I would estimate around 1200 a day. I didn't really count calories the first few months, so I couldn't give you specifics. I will say that my body usually tends to shed the weight pretty quickly when I stay on track and keep myself from binging. But that also means I gain weight quickly if I'm eating crap all the time ;)

I tend to feel a little nauseous if I eat breakfast too soon after waking up. I like to be up and moving around a little before eating. That being said, on weekdays, I get to work early and just make my breakfast there, or bring something with me to eat when I get to work. So around 7:30am or so. On the weekends, I just…

I usually just go there to browse and buy interesting looking things that they don't sell at my normal supermarket. They usually have a really great salad bar, too! But I could never afford to do all my grocery shopping there.

A little bowl of cereal if I feel like I need it. I use a small bowl and stick to one serving. With 1/2 cup skim milk it ends up being about 150 calories and it does actually satisfy me until dinner time.

We have leftover sausage from this weekend, so I'm cooking some of that up with some eggs and hash browns for the boyfriend. I'll probably have plain eggs and some hash browns with a salad.
-
Cut my portions WAY down. Started drinking a gallon of water everyday. And started cooking my meals instead of grabbing fast food all the time.

My diary is open to friends if you'd like to add me! And I used to used Designer Whey protein, and it was actually really tasty and pretty inexpensive.
-
I second the overnight oats! They are so versatile, so you can put whatever you want in them. And you make them the night before, so all you have to do is grab and go in the morning.

Definitely. I'm signing up for a 5k in June, so I'll be doing the Couch to 5k program and working my way up. Kind of discouraging for someone that ran a half marathon a few years ago, but starting over will be a new experience!

Probably around 1200-1300 everyday, but like I said, I roughly estimated. I tried to track everything on MFP, but I usually didn't count veggies, oil, butter, or even dinner some days. Pretty much no exercise. I have bad hips, and sometimes it even hurts to walk long distances, but I'm starting to do more!

I literally ate whatever I wanted, just practiced moderation. I roughly counted calories, but didn't get obsessive about it (been there, done that).

I'd like to lose around 25 more pounds, but I'm pretty happy with where I'm at now!
-
I like them. I don't really care about the protein, but the ingredients are decent and I like the way they taste.

Yes! I can't stand onions in any form, except onion rings. It doesn't make sense to me and everyone I know thinks it's extremely weird.

I used to put ketchup on plain white rice. I thought it was the best as a kid.

I started out years ago, and would obsessively weigh/measure/count every single thing I consumed so I could be accurate in my calorie counting. I developed a disordered relationship with food, and have been struggling ever since. Recently, I finally found the motivation to get back on track with losing weight and promised…

Lately I've been making deconstructed breakfast burritos -- basically whatever you like in a breakfast burrito minus the tortilla. I use frozen hash browns, 2 slices of center cut bacon, an egg, and a little sprinkle of sharp white cheddar. Just over 200 calories, too!
-
I definitely second the avocado idea! You can't really taste it, but it gives your smoothie a really nice creamy consistency.

Love your hair!

@msdevin89 - hang out

Heck yes girls! It is SO worth it at the end. All we need is a little determination and motivation.

I'm newly 21. And anyone is free to add me :)
-
I'm 20 and have about 30-40 more pounds to lose. Feel free to add me :)

While they're super yummy, they don't count as a veggie. They pretty much only put enough 'veggie' into the product to make it a certain color. Definitely not enough to count towards a serving of real vegetables.

I think it's horrible! It's totally a texture thing for me, and a spoiled milk looking product does not appeal to me. However, my boyfriend loves the stuff. He almost ate it with steak the other night..I almost gagged :/
-
Of course he doesn't have a problem with it! He has a beautiful woman at his side! :)

I'm running a 5k Turkey Trot bright and early Thuraday morning :)

I had another bad week last week, so I won't be updating my weight this week. Good luck to everyone else when you guys post your weighins this week :)

I actually like it haha. it's not smooth and soft like white or wheat bread. it actually makes me feel like I'm eating some substantial
